I think my Game Boy Color is broken/ IGN's top 100 games 70-61

I got some bad news. I went to play one of the Pokemon games on my Game Boy Color. I was saving the game at one point. I turned it off and then a few hours later, when I turned it back on, there was supposed to be a choice that says "Continue", but there wasn't. It happened a few weeks ago. Few weeks later, which is now, I figured out that it's probably something inside the Game Boy Color is damaged. Something that makes the game's saved it's progress. I might plan on getting a GBA or maybe a DS. But I'm thinking of something:

If you can play GBA games on your DS, can you do the same for Game Boy Color games on a DS?

I played a lot of games on this one. I love Sands of Time with all my heart. Beautiful graphics and great puzzles. Burnout 3 is an amazing racing game. I think Revenge is better than Takedown, because of a better soundtrack, awesome career mode and fun online play. I played VF4: Evolution before and it was fun. I have the original Virtua Fighter 4 in my collection. I might review that game, after I review Chrono Cross. I also played Phantasy Star 4 on the Sega Genesis Collection. Great retro RPG.

If you missed out on games 100-71, I'll send in the links.

My new Game Gear is broken/ IGN's top 100 games 90-81

Bionic Commando/ IGN's top 100 games 80-71

Bionic Commando/ IGN's top 100 games 80-71

Finally. Level 28: Bionic Commando. Named after a game from Capcom.

History update:

As most of you may already know, it was released in the arcade in 1987. The player controls of a commando name Super Joe, the same character that the person controls in the game Commando, who cross through 5 levels from a forest to a base, in order to stop an armed force. The game was played like a platformer. The played had to use Super Joe's arm, which has some kind of hook in it, to attach itself to a ledge, move himself up and basically do the same thing to reach the end of each level.

If you want to play the arcade version, play it in the first volume of the Capcom compilation.

Capcom released an NES version of the game and the NES version became a hit. The graphics are different, as you can see in the photo below.

Image:Bionic Commando.png

It also had a little bit of a difference in the story. A person has to control a soldier that has to rescue Super Joe because he was kidnapped by doing a mission where he had to stop some plan called Albatros. The NES version of the game is listed in Gamespot's greatest games of all time.

Now, I heard that Capcom is going to make a sequel for the game, which is going to be cool.

My new Game Gear is broken/ IGN's top 100 games 90-81

I can't believe it! I just bought the Game Gear at the garage sale, bought 6 AA batteries for it, turn on the handheld and it's broken. :( I guess the person who used it probably play with games with it a lot and for it being a very old handheld, the hardware inside it died. I guess I'm going to buy that works off on Ebay.

My review for Capcom Classics Collection Vol.2/IGN's top 100 games 100-91

Yesterday, I made my review for the second Capcom compilation, check it out. I know most people don't have it, considering a lot of people bought the other compilations that are out. But if you do have it, read my review for it.

Second, IGN made a feature called IGN's top 100 games. I'm doing this because I like when people make their own top 100 games feature. It's something that Gamespot hasn't done. Here are the games from 100 to 91.

100. Archon: The Light and the Dark

99. Rayman 2: The Great Escape

98. Quake 2

97. Silent Hill 2

96. Wave Race 64

What did you think? I think the list is good so far. I have played Bionic Commando on the arcade version in the first Capcom compilation and it was good. If I have an NES, I want to think about buying that version of the game.

See you later.

I got a Sega Game Gear

I got good news. No, I didn't move up to level 28, it's something even better. I was at a garage sale 2 houses down from where I live and I happen to buy this:

The Sega Game Gear. This is probably the oldest gaming hardware I ever bought. First came out on October 1990. I got 2 games along with the handheld. I got the Game Gear version of Sonic the Hedgehog and Taz-Mania.

How many of you heard or own a Game Gear? If you do have one, what games shall I get for the system?

Video Game Addict Quiz

This was made by a person on Youtube name solidsnate228. This is a quiz that is based on how many times you said yes.

Remembering Jeff Gerstmann

Jeff Gerstmann was the best man ever. Along with Rich Gallup and Greg Kasavin, he was one of the members that I admired. He has been in the business since 1996, the year when Gamespot was found. Now, this will never be the same without him. Just like Gamespot hasn't been the same since Greg's and Rich's Good- Bye.

Let's not forget him in the E3 schwag giveaway with Ryan.

My review for Guitar Hero 3/ Vote for a game

This is it, my review for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. Be warned, it's the PS2 version, since most of you have the next gen versions.

As some of you might know, I'm going to plan on reviewing the second Capcom compilation. I want to plan on reviewing a second game along with CCC vol. 2, But, I don't know what.

Here are the choices and you vote:

  • Chrono Cross
  • Final Fantasy X
  • Final Fantasy Xll
  • Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4
  • X-Men Legends
  • Grind Session
  • Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage
  • Destroy All Humans!
  • Twisted Metal: Black
  • Shadow of the Colossus
  • Virtua Fighter 4
  • Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal
  • Dark Cloud 2

It's a lot of games, but I want to get them out of the way. You choose.

My christmas list

These are the things I have on my christmas list, so far.

1. Those things that show a picture of an island or a waterfall and had lights that act as the water. I had one last year, but the battery died. :(

2. A camera with better quality and a microphone. I now have a camera in my room that I can use to upload videos. But the quality of it looks like crap, because we had that for years. I wish I one in this generation of technology. I would also like to havea microphone for it, because I can't hear myself when I watch the video. Don't you need some device for not having the ability to use a microphone during a video blog?

3. A Wii. I'm not really that fund of the PS3 yet, plus a want a system that has more family - friendly games. I know it's impossible to find one now, but hopefully the trucks will store in more Wii's before christmas.

4. Either Rayman 2 Revolution, Timesplitters 2, Resident Evil 4 or Amplitude for the PS2.

5. A PSP or a GBA.

6. Jeff Dunham's "Arguing with Myself" or "Spark of Insanity" DVD.

7. A large size Guitar Hero 3 T-Shirt.

8. A bookmark from an artist name Ed Beard Jr.

I show you who Ed and Jeff are.

Jeff Dunham Compilation Jeff Dunham Compilation 2

Jeff is funny as hell

http://www.edbeardjr.com/

Ed Beard Jr. is an incredible artist. He does art of Dragons, Pirates, J.R.R. Tolkein and all that. If you love that type of stuff, you should buy his artwork. He sells paintings, T-Shirts, bookmarks, coffee mugs, mousepads and all that stuff.

That's my list. I might make a review for Guitar Hero 3 today. If not, I will do it tomorrow. Stay tuned for it.
