I think some of you are too young to realize how much technology is advancing.

A few decades ago there were no cell phones or internet.

So much has changed since then and technology is advancing at an even faster pace.

Who's to say that what we define as consoles now is no longer here in another 20 years or so?

Consoles have already hit their peak in performance quite a long while back.

It's more about how creative a developer can work with these limits.

You have to know what are the most important assets to make highly detailed and which ones should be low detailed or cut from the game.

You substitute effects that are demanding for effects that are not as good but are less demanding.

You use more scripted events as it does not require as much hardware power.

When using those scripted scenes it may free up some extra performance that can be used to improve visuals while within those scripted scenes.

Basically it's not a battle of technical graphics but a battle of art style and how creative developers are.

I am sure the best looking PS3 games could be done on the xbox 360 just as well and visa versa.

Why do you keep making new accounts? Also, you think that this site has nothing to do with other people "growing up"?

Don't feed him.

Not a bad idea actually. especially for consolites like myself who simply doesn't have the patience or tolerance in building a gaming rig.

KingsofQueens

You will probably get to see a lot more people complaining how their 700USD pre-built computer with a GT430 can't max Crysis.

I disagree :D

I thought the dialog was generally amusing and sometimes outright hilarious.

I thought the graphics were fine. Not Crysis, but the use of environmental animations was great, sometimes outstanding.

The music certainly didn't bother me.

I thought a lot of the puzzles (especially near the end) were a good pit harder than in the first game. Not all that hard, but harder than the first game.

Mazoch

I liked the graphics. They were very clean without huge amounts of bloom added.

I also liked the music especially the singing robots.

The game was well scripted too so things carried out smoothly for me.

There were also many small nuisances.

I liked that the game doesn't force feed you the plot.

It doesn't outright tell you things. It merely hints at them during dialogue.

I liked how when you get to the bottom levels you start at the 1950s and move up to the 1980s and The announcer's attitude even changes a long with the differences of society at the time.

I like the small details added to the factory which was building the turrets.

The game was great.

I found the GlaDOS and the british robot to be some of the most realistic characters in any video game.

It is probably helped by the fact that robots don't have to look human.

I thourougly enjoyed Portal 2 as much as 1 and it's one of my favorite games.

I liked the game a lot.

I played the PC version instead of the console version.

Of course it's no Undying but it was still a fun game for me.
