My guess is the WGA54G has not been configured to connect to the new router. I'm not familiar with it specifically, but I'd suggest either resetting it's settings so it pulls new info from the new router or logging in to it's web interface and making any changes required. Once the WGA54G has been reconfigured you'll have to reset the 360's settings as well so that they match the new connection info on the gaming adapter.
When you run the installer it doesn't appear to do anything at first but give it time, it's doing stuff in the background. Eventually the installer will appear. I've only played through the prologue so far. What I've seen has been rather impressive though. Highlights: * nice lighting effects * the voice acting seems very well done (I don't speak German) * nice scripted sequences * level design is pretty damn cool * already found some hidden loot! * there was a definite sense of needing to get the hell out of the first area * your first look at the outside world is spectacular The not so good: * I chose the magically inclined race with the intention of playing a mage, but started with only a single restoration spell. A beginner offensive spell would have been nice to have so I wouldn't have had to rely solely on scrolls and melee weapons. Not a big deal really as long as it doesn't take long to learn some offensive magic. * I know nothing of this game world and it does little to explain anything to you. I haven't had a chance to look around their site much yet, but hopefully there's some information on races, classes, birth signs, background info on the world itself, stuff like that.
I like Steam for their sales. I bought like 12 games for the price of two during their summer sale. Other than that I still prefer buying my games on disc.
So far so good! It backed up and restored my saves just fine. It found some saves that had been left behind after the game itself had been uninstalled who knows when. I had one game that wasn't in it's database so I tried a custom gamesave entry where I told it where the saves were located and it backed those up too.
Check out GameSave Manager. "Ever had to format your system? Perhaps you have been victim of file corruption which also victimised your gamesaves? Maybe you just wish to transfer your gamesave(s) to your new machine, or to take with you to a friend's? With GameSave Manager, you can easily backup, restore and transfer your gamesave(s). No longer do you need to manually track through all of the those different directories to backup/restore/transfer your gamesaves, making it great for those who like to share gamesave progress with friends/family, format frequently, paranoid about data loss, etc... Have a game that's not supported? No problem; using the "Custom GameSave Entries" feature, you can define your own gamesaves for GameSave Manager to search for." I installed new hard drives in my machine recently and used this program to back up all of my game saves to an external drive first. I recommend checking the option "Create separate archives for each gamesave entry selected". This will back up each game independently of one another which also means you can restore each game independently as well.
