The original Witcher is not even in the same league as Demons Souls. Not even close. Demons Souls is a far far better game. However, one major flaw of Demons Souls is lack of a proper save game system. If it wasn't for that flaw, it had the potential to be one of the greatest Action RPGs ever made.

Risen is an awesome game as well. Again, much much better than the original Witcher. Risen may be one of the greatest Action RPGs ever made along with Oblivion and Diablo 2. I haven't played Two Worlds 2 yet, but I have heard a lot of really good things about it. I played the Divinity 2: TDKS Demo and it seems to be a really solid game. I expect Skyrim to be an amazing game. On the other hand, in my opinion, Witcher 2 looks lame.

Two Worlds 2 ? Gothic 3 is good also. And no Witcher 2 has combat similar to Demon Souls. Or something like Risen if you haven't played Demon Souls.GeneralShowzer

Oh yeah, I meant Two Worlds 2. I know about Gothic 3 as well.

I just saw a video of Witcher 2 gameplay on YouTube and the combat looks nothing like Demons Souls. Witcher 2 combat looks very similar to the weird combat from the original Witcher.

Thanks for the response.

Are there any RPGs similar to Risen, Two Worlds 2, Divinity 2: TDKS, or Skyrim coming out in the next 6 months?

Also, does Witcher 2 have the same weird combat of the original?

Any responses will be appreciated.

Thanks.

I tried the Divinity 2: TDKS demo and it is a lot of fun, but when I saw Two Worlds 2 gameplay videos on YouTube, it looks a lot better than Divinity 2. Two Worlds 2 looks like a modern version of Oblivion but with better graphics, and Oblivion is one of my favorite RPGs ever. In comparison, compared to Two Worlds 2, Divinity 2 seems to have worse graphics and less openness to it in general. However, Divinity 2 still seems to have really good graphics in general and gameplay is very good as well.

Which of these two games do you all prefer and why?

Also, which of these two games is better optimized for Nvidia video cards and runs smoother? Which would most likely run smoother on my PC? My PC's specs are:

* Athlon 64 X2 6400+ Black Edition
* Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe nForce 570 SLI Chipset
* Gigabyte Geforce GTX 285 Video Card
* 4GB RAM - PC6400 DDR2/800

So how is a "parry" different from a block with a shield? Does "parry" mean you block with a weapon instead of a shield?

The graphics of both Crysis games are WAY over-exaggerated. Many console games look better.

Top 8 reasons Crysis graphics are defended and exaggerated so much:

8. Person only looks at tech specs, not what the game actually looks like on screen.

7. Person thinks terrible-looking boulder textures are awesome.

6. Person thinks terrible-looking NPC faces are awesome.

5. Person thinks being able to shoot down trees is "state-of-the-art" and somehow makes graphics better.

4. Person thinks nice looking foliage is all it takes to make a game have great graphics.

3. Person doesn't realize that PCs are not dedicated gaming machines like consoles are, so games on PCs will never be optimized as much as console games are.

2. Person is a PC gaming fanboy who refuses to admit that console games can have better graphics than PC games.

and the #1 reason Crysis graphics are defended so much:

1. Person doesn't own a PS3 or 360.

I think Banjo looks better IMO. Ratchet and Clank is no graphical marvel.Tulak_Hord
Ratchet & Clank is the first video game ever to have Toy Story (the original Toy Story movie that is) quality graphics. And to this day the 360 has not been able to match this quality of animation in real-time graphics.
