IMO, the PS3 is a much more future-proof console. Already the graphics are getting better than 360 (e.g. Uncharted). All models of PS3 have a standard hard drive which helps developers. It uses a much better media format (Blu-ray) than 360. And the PS3 is simply a more powerful console. All these things matter, and I think the PS3 will be dominating by the end of 2008, but that's just my opinion.
I used to have a 360, and I almost always had trouble connecting to Xbox Live. It would usually take me at least 3 attempts before I connected. And I am almost positive it wasn't my 360 or cable modem, I think it had something to do with Xbox Live. I sold my 360 and got a PS3. I have never had trouble connecting to PSN. It works the first time, everytime.
I think it will look slightly better on PS3 because it seems that developers are getting more used to the PS3 and are able to harness it's power more efficiently nowadays. IMO, Oblivion's ground textures and building textures look noticeably better on the PS3. IMO, COD4 looks slightly better on the PS3. And IMO, so far it looks like DMC4 will also look slightly better on the PS3, especially the ice in the game.
What is it about Bioshock and Condemned that make them much better than most FPS games? Is it the slower pace and more thought out gameplay? Or is it the atmosphere? Or is it all of those things?
