@Mandrew257 Lol. They've been working on Versus already. It went into full production mode last year, where the hell were you? Like any fan worth their salt already knows, LR and VXIII's development teams are completely different. If you want to blame anything, blame Kingdom Hearts for its spin-offs.
A PS4/Xbox One port would be interesting, but I highly doubt it.
As for the delay, it takes time to translate everything. I'm fine with waiting if it means they can polish the experience even more. Either way, SE is shaping up to have a strong year, starting with E3! I can feel it!
Funnily enough, I have both the older X360 and the Elite, and neither have gotten the red ring of death. I think people like to harp on that just for shits and giggles. And FFXIII on Xbox 360? Best decision by SE in recent memory.
Fez, I Am Alive...those are the only two XBLA games I remember, but they were definitely good ones. I like the Xbox 360 overall, and since I don't own any games with multiplayer, I don't care about the membership. Overall, great experience.
(And that goddamn power button that's so fun to turn on! :D )
@GOGOHeadray Clearly there is a marginal demand for the game, or they wouldn't bother. As much as people try to deny it, Final Fantasy XIII's fanbase is relatively large and dedicated. While I think Final Fantasy XIII-2 was unnecessary, I am excited for Lightning Returns and know plenty of others that are, too. So saying no one will buy it is just ridiculous.
@BloodyAura Where did you pull that information out of? xD
That's absolutely B.S. The creators of the Agni's Philosophy tech demo confirmed that they had no intention to turn it into a full-fledged FF game. So no, it's not even being developed. Versus XIII is being developed, but the name could undergo a change, which like I said, could be the "new Final Fantasy" Square Enix is unveiling at E3.
Seriously, don't try to look cool by posting incorrect information, especially when this is common knowledge if you pay attention to FF news. xD
