@ItsEvolution Yes, but it wasn't enough. I don't think you quite understand this. They need to make a hell of a lot more than the money that went INTO the game in order to fund future games.
Jenova Chen, you've proven that thatgamecompany can make beautifully crafted games and hell, if that robs you, take my money now. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would donate to them if this was a big issue.
Sony's marketing could use a little help, though...
@Thunderstarter Sometimes, Howard Shore just can't be beat. But The Hobbit's score was a little lacking in that it used the theme over and over again until it was just too repetitive, even with the different version and such.
@cjimrun I felt the same, but hopefully they spent more time developing the single-player experience, which is what I'm most excited about for this new origin story.
@ArataWata @Bayonetta2013 @WhiteStormy Guess that also could apply to the FFVII remake fanboys are frothing for, then?
Because three games and two movies isn't overkill AT ALL. At least there's a sound conclusion to the FFXIII series and they're bringing fresh elements to the table. FF's formula was getting hella stale before E3 2006 ever came around.
