Hi everybody, how are you doing?! I don't have much to say really. I just wanted to say I'm really into retro gaming again. I recently got myself a gameboy micro, and the games Super mario bros 3, Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island and Legend of Zelda. Today, I got myself a Gamecube with super mario sunshine. Now I'm only looking for the zelda collector's edition so I can finally play Zelda: Majora's Mask, which I never played before (a shame, or not?). A review of Super Mario World is coming up so.. be seeing you!

Well, I guess I will not play fifa 11 yet.. Today I got my version of Civilization V! I know Civ4 costed me some time of my brief life, and I hope I can combine my time with my wife and daughter and Cilivization. Well, I guess I won't sleep much the upcoming time! :D Btw, how did you end with the greatest game villain leaderboard. I did quite good actually, I ended within the top 9000 and got myself a nice new emblem. It had something to do with being the nr.1 in your friends list.... :P

Fall is coming, and so is a new football game. I've recently downed both fifa and pes demo's, and I'd say FIFA 11 is going to win this year again, although PES 11 is coming close. I think PES looks better, but FIFA has better animation and more realistic gameplay. But in terms of demo games, PES is definitely the winner. The possibility of playing against each other is definitely a pro against the fifa 11 demo, which has a ridiculously short game mode (only 3 minutes!). What about you guys?

I just reviewed this game: It was well worth my time! I hope my review will give you some clarity whether to give Limbo a try. I think it's recommendable!

Did anyone already watched the Limbo-review yet? I just watched it, and I immediately decided to spend my 1200 MS points to this game. It does remind me a bit of Braid, but I'll guess it's more platforming rather than puzzle-solving and time traveling...

Yes people, of course I'm talking about the World cup football final: Netherlands-Spain. It is obvious which team I will support (Viva Hollandia!!) but to be honest, I think Spain is the favourite team to win the cup. But never say never I thought we would lose against brazil but we didn't, so anything can happen!

It's been a while since I wrote a blog, mostly due to my family who soacks up my free time at the moment. Luckily I still have time to play some games!

I played mega man 10 recently as you might know, and I thought it was a great game! An improvement over mm 9, I would give it a 8.5, also because it has a high replay value.

The other game I just completed is Alan Wake. This is one of the weirdest games I've ever played, it has a great horror/ thriller story, but sometimes the gameplay was quite dull, other times intense. But the thing that is interesting is the ending. Spoiler-free, I could say there must be some downloadable content according to the end-sequence. I am not totally satisfied about Alan Wake, I would give it an 8.

But next up is BLUR! I played the demo and had heaps of fun, I'll let you know how I feel about this one...

Today, I've committed a game crime. Well not really a crime, it is just not done in gaming land. To be honest, I'm quite ashamed, but I feel so guilty I have to share this with you guys..

Well, I'm going to tell it to you now, please don't give me a digital punch in the face... Are you ready? Here goes.......

I used the easy mode in mega man 10...

But I mean, come on! You got to be kidding me! I played the first stage for 5 minutes and I jumped at spikes two times, fell of a cliff and got shot to death by that oh-so-annoying-brown/yellow-mole-robot-thing.

Flame me for the 8-bit retro morale killer that I am (true mega man-ists know what I'm talking about, It's even worse than buying a power-up or an extra life) but I don't buy a game for 800 points just to give me the feeling I'm not that good in platform games anymore (30-something?).

Btw, I realised on time playing the easy mode is for **** and got back to normal mode again, hours later, I beat 2 robots and am eager to destroy some more!

Wow, definitely my GOTY 2010, or Alan Wake should become very very good!

I just finished Mass Effect 2, and I'll try to write a review very soon, but I first have to come back to earth after such an amazing experience.

It is such a pity I reached the end..I hope part 3 will be released very soon!
