OMG. Last night I was standing 100 feet away from Sabra Johnson. Who is that you might ask? Just the winner of Season 3's So You Think You Can Dance! She was dancing for a benefit to promote awareness of Primary Immune Deficiency Disease. The benefit was all about dancing and many dancers came out to support it, A group from Pennsylvania and from Pittsford New York. (I live in New York, not the city, the state.) It was all really cool. The girl who wanted to raise the money has the disease and loves to dance so her mom came up with a dance benefit and there were a bunch of fabulous numbers. Sabra was teriffic as usual and the other dancers were great as well. One was about a white guy trying to find his gangsta side 8) so it was pretty funny. The chereography was brilliant. I love to dance so I thought it was teriffic.

Anyway, that was my random night.

Woohoo, the last week of school for me is this week, then I'll have a week off before my exams start. I can't wait until school's over, i'm going to be a senior!!!!!! i can't wait to graduate and get to college. 3 MORE DAYS LEFT!!!!!

Scene 7

With Elyssa

(Elyssa walks inside the studio and sees bunches of people. She seems to be looking for a certain person. She spots a guy stretching by himself. She walks over to the chairs, gets out her stuff, walks over to the guy, sits down, and starts stretching)

Elyssa: Hey Joe! What's up!

Joe: Oh, hey Elyssa! Ready for hip-hop today?

Elyssa: No way. I am going to be exhausted afterwards.

Joe: I know. But it's my favorite dance.

Elyssa: I'm more partial to modern, but then again, hip-hop is more exciting.

Joe: I only take these cla sses for my moves anyways.

Elyssa: Moves?

Joe: I'm in a band with my brothers. We like to pull off some cool moves during our songs.

Elyssa: Sweet. (thinks: wow he can dance and sing)

Joe: Ready?

(Elyssa is snapped out of her thoughts)

Elyssa: Yeah, let's do it.

(Afterwards)

Elyssa: Wow (as she packs up her stuff). That was long.

Joe: I know. But it was fun. The choreography was...

Elyssa: Brilliant?

Joe: Exactly.

Elyssa: Well, I'll see you next time.

Joe: Or how about tomorrow night?

Elyssa: Are you asking me out?

Joe: Maybe...

Elyssa: Well then I guess I'll see you tomorrow night.

(she grabs her stuff and walks back to her dorm)

Scene 8

(Elyssa walks into her room and sees Rebecca staring at the wall)

Elyssa: Helloooo? Is anyone there?

Rebecca: (looks surprised) OMG Elyssa! Way to scare me.

Elyssa: Sorry, but you were staring at the wall. And I don't think it's that interesting.

Rebecca: I was just thinking.

Elyssa: Well I was just thinking about what I am going to wear tomorrow night.

Rebecca: For what?!

Elyssa: For my date with Joe!

Rebecca: OMG Elyssa!

Elyssa: I know! I'm so excited!

Rebecca: You've been eyeing him forever!

(they start jumping up and down)

Elyssa: Okay, time to get serious.

Rebecca: Right. (she walks over to their closet) What to wear...Where are you going?

Elyssa: I don't know hang on.(she pulls out her phone and texts something. A minute later her phone starts playing techno music. She picks it up.)

Elyssa: It says "How about the movies?"

Rebecca: Perfect first date.

Elyssa: I'll tell him sure. (she quickly texts something and puts her phone in her pocket.) What should I wear?

Rebecca: (she looks back into their closet) How about this really cute top and a pair of those skinny jeans you like?

Elyssa: Yes! Sounds perfect. You know me so well.

Rebecca: Well I'm glad you have something to do tomorrow.

Elyssa: You should totally ask Kevin.

Rebecca: No. He's supposed to ask me.

Elyssa: Are you still on that whole the guy should ask thing? It's the 21st Century now. What if he's waiting for you to ask him?

Rebecca: He just broke up with his girlfriend. I don't think he's ready to start dating again.

(Elyssa gives her a Don't-give-me-that-because-you're-afraid-to-get-turned-down look.)

Rebecca: Don't give me that look.

Elyssa: (looking innocently) What look?

(Rebecca's phone beeps)

Elyssa: Ooo. Who's that from?

Rebecca: (doesn't respond but quickly texts something back)

Elyssa: Um...Hello? Rebecca?

Rebecca: Oh, sorry. What?

Elyssa: Who was that?

(Rebecca's phone starts playing

Elyssa: (raises her eyebrows)

Rebecca: What? (She answers the phone) Hello?...Yeah...Sounds great...Okay.. I'll see you in 10 minutes...Bye.

Elyssa: Who are you seeing?

Rebecca: I'm going to meet Kevin. You are invited also.

Elyssa: I think I'll sit this one out. I need to work on my dances.

Rebecca: You sure? (Elyssa nods her head.) Okay then, don't knock anything over while you dance.

Elyssa: Alright. See ya.

Rebecca: Bye. (she grabs her purse and walks to the quad)

My script is coming, I've been really busy with school and stuff so I haven't had time to type all of it up. Don't worry it will speed up and get better! It might be up later today if I have time.

(Afterwards Kevin, Rebecca, and Elyssa are walking to the quad.)

Kevin: That's a cool way to learn. I didn't really enjoy these cla sses at my old school.

Rebecca: Yeah, why are you in these cla sses if you are a music major?

Kevin: I minor in Film and Theater Productions. I thought it would be fun.

Elyssa: Cool. Well I gotta go. We are learning another new dance today. See ya!

Rebecca: Have fun!

Elyssa: Yeah right.

Rebecca: Hey you know you like it!

Elyssa: Yeah. (she starts walking to the performing arts building)

Kevin: What does she major in?

Rebecca: Elyssa? She's a dance major. We've danced together forever, but I only take dance for gym. She's really good and she's really into it.

Kevin: Do they have a recital or something?

Rebecca: Yeah, they do a bunch at the end of the year. It's coming up in a couple months.

Kevin: Cool. We should go.

Rebecca: I always go. They have a lot of different dances, but modern and lyrical are my favorite.

Kevin: Where are we going?

Rebecca: The quad. Do you have somewhere else to be today?

Kevin: Yeah I have a private lesson with one of the music professors.

Rebecca: Wow, cool. When is it?

Kevin: At one.

Rebecca: So we have time for lunch.

Kevin: Sure, where's the best place?

Rebecca: Let's go to the dining hall I think they have an assortment of food today.

Kevin: Okay.

Rebecca: Um, earlier I hope you didn't think I was being rude, but I have only talked about that subject with Elyssa and Jesse.

Kevin: Jesse? (looks confused and worried)

Rebecca: Oh he's my brother. He's a senior here, and engineer major.

Kevin: Oh. (looks relieved)

Rebecca: Hey there he is now. I'll introduce you.

(they walk over to a guy typing furiously on his computer)

Rebecca: Hey Jesse! This is Kevin, he's new.

Kevin: Hey!

Jesse: (gave a little grunt)

Rebecca: (gets out her phone and quickly texts something, Jesse's phone beeps)

Jesse: (picks up his phone and reads the text and gives Rebecca the evil eye) Hang on a second...okay...so what did you say?

Rebecca: I said hi and this is Kevin, he's new here.

Jesse: Oh hey! Sorry I'm working on this huge project for a cla ss.

Kevin: That's cool. My cousin is an engineer too.

Jesse: Really? It'd be cool to meet him.

Kevin: Sure, I'll have him call you.

Rebecca: Okay, anyways, we have to get some lunch so I'll see you later Jesse.

Jesse: Yeah, nice to meet you Kevin.

Kevin: Nice to meet you too.

(Kevin and Rebecca walk into the dining hall and eat lunch.)

(Twenty minutes later they walk out of the dining hall)

Rebecca: Okay, ready to go?

Kevin: Yup. Lead the way.

(they start walking and get to the building)

Rebecca: Okay, we're here.

(A girl walks out of the building and gives Rebecca and Kevin a dirty look)

Rebecca: What was that about?

Kevin: Oh...um...that was Carly's best friend Nicole.

Rebecca: I hope she doesn't think we're dating.

Kevin: (gives a little laugh nervously) Yeah.

Rebecca: Well it's almost time for your lesson. Ready? (Kevin gives a nod) Then let's go.

(Rebecca shows Kevin to his lesson room.)

Kevin: Thanks!

Rebecca: No problem. I'll see you later.

Kevin: Cool

Rebecca: Cool?

Kevin: Yeah. That means I haven't done anything to get you mad.

Rebecca: (laughing) Not yet. See ya!

(Rebecca starts to walk to her dorm)

Kevin: See ya. (After Rebecca leaves) Rebecca.

(Rebecca throws on a cute top and some jeans, leaves a note to the still sleeping Elyssa, and grabs her books for productions.)

(she walks to the quad coffee cart)

(When Rebecca gets there she orders a mocha latte and sits on a bench near the cart. She looks at her phone and sees she is five minutes early.)

(5 minutes later Kevin walks up to her)

Kevin: Hey Rebecca! Thanks for meeting me. I don't think I could find productions by myself.

Rebecca: No way! I have that ****too! So does Elyssa!

Kevin: Cool! I'll get a coffee and you can lead the way.

(Kevin gets his coffee and comes back, Rebecca stands up)

Rebecca: Ready?

Kevin: Let's go!

(they start walking)

Rebecca: So...

Kevin: So...what?

Rebecca: Umm...Yesterday Elyssa told me she saw you walking with another girl.

Kevin: Oh right, um, that's Carly.

Rebecca: Oh, and how do you know her?

Kevin: She's my girlfriend.

Rebecca: So why do you need me to help you out?

Kevin: Well... Carly and I have decided to break up. We had a rough patch a while ago and we never recovered.

Rebecca: Oh, and what happened then?

Kevin: Well, my mom and dad split and I was drawn into myself. Carly just didn't understand.

Rebecca: I know how that feels.

Kevin: Are your parents divorced?

Rebecca: (looking uncomfortable) No, I just... I don't really feel comfortable talking about it.

Kevin: Oh, so, um, what is your major here?

Rebecca: I'm majoring in Film and Theater Productions. Mostly directing is what I want to do. How about you?

Kevin: I'm majoring in music. I'm actually in a band with my brothers but we haven't had anything huge yet.

(they reach the room)

Rebecca: So here it is.

Kevin: Wow, everything is way bigger here than at my last school.

(the room is extraordinarily large because of all the equipment)

Rebecca: (giggling) Well this is actually the practice room for the theater department and I think the music department uses it too.

Kevin: (looking around speechless)

Rebecca: The actual room is behind here. Come on.

(Rebecca leads Kevin through to the back of the theater and opens a door)

Rebecca: Here we are. Oh, there's Elyssa (to Elyssa) Hey!

Elyssa: Hey girl!

Rebecca: Kevin the professor is down there (she points to a man near the front of the room).

Kevin: Thanks, I'll be right back. (he walks to the front)

Elyssa: Oooooo.

Rebecca: Don't do that.

Elyssa: Why? It's obvious you like him.

Rebecca: I do not.

Elyssa: Did you ask him about yesterday?

Rebecca: Yeah, it was his ex-girlfriend Carly. I think she's a sophomore here.

Elyssa: Oooo, and ex-girlfriend.

Rebecca: Would you stop that, here he comes.

Kevin: Cool teacher.

Elyssa: Let's go sit over there.

(they go sit down)

Professor: Okay, let's get started...

Rebecca: Don't go getting all mushy on me. Let's go to the quad.

Elyssa: Okay.

(they walk to the quad and get halfway there)

Rebecca: Oh shoot.

Elyssa: What?

Rebecca: I have to go write the script for movie writing.

Elyssa: Oh yeah, I remember that. Mine was really bad.

(Author's Note:Elyssa already had movie writing last semester)

Rebecca: I'll see you in the dorm later.

Elyssa: Okay. See ya, if you need anything text me.

Rebecca: K. See ya.

Scene 4

(Rebecca walks back to her dorm)

(after about 2 hours her phone beeps)

Rebecca: Oh, it's from Elyssa. "Girl you'll never guess who I just saw. Call me."

(Rebecca calls Elyssa)

Rebecca: Who?

Elyssa: Kevin was walking with this one girl and they looked like they were more than friends.

Rebecca: Oh. (she sounds sad)

Elyssa: You should ask him about it next time you see him.

Rebecca: Okay. When are you coming back?

Elyssa: I'm on my way just stopping to get a coffee.

Rebecca: Okay see ya.

Elyssa: Bye.

(they hang up)

(Ten minutes later Elyssa walks in)

Rebecca: Hey.

Elyssa: You okay?

Rebecca: Yeah, just tired. (she looks at the clock) Wow, it's eleven o'clock. I have to finish this script tomorrow and we have productions. I think I'll go to bed.

(they say good night and go to sleep)

The next morning

(Rebecca's phone beeps)

Rebecca picks up her phone: "Hey, morning. I need some help finding next ****Can you help me? -Kevin:(

Rebecca texts back: "Sure, but only because you have a sad face. I'll meet you at the quad's coffee cart in 15 mins."

Rebecca thinks: Shoot what am I going to do?

(Rebecca throws on a cute top and some jeans, leaves a note to the still sleeping Elyssa, and grabs her books for productions.)

Happy Memorial Day everyone! Mine was pretty boring, I had to march for band this morning but otherwise it was uneventful.

Read my script! comment, I need critiques! I'm still typing the next part. I think it's longer than this first one. It starts slow, but it gets better.
