Purchased FF Tactics Advance A2 and its the Best DS Game EVER!!

Honestly, I'm just SO amazed and entertained with "FF Tactics Advance A2" great gameplay (even after playing for 5 hours only, yeah, non-stop since I bought it this morning lol) and entertaining graphics and battle system that I just can't put it down. I had to force myself to save and turn it off so I could eat breakfast, take a shower, finish some work, and charge it for a while (right now I REALLY REALLY wanna play), but of course I have a "Gameplay Code" of self-restraint and control, anyhoo, back to the game:

To anyone who likes RPG's, enjoys FF (Final Fantasy), or is merely looking for a good game to purchase for the DS: BUY THIS GAME ASAP! It's incredible, beyond my words of description (maybe its because I'm a deep-soul FF gamer....) but it's simply beyond my words to describe, you just have to play it for yourself.

I plan to write a review of course (after I've played the game to the fullest and unlocked/mastered EVERYTHING in it), maybe in 1-2 weeks so stay alert during that time.

For anyone who wishes to know how I would describe this game in three words: 1. Beautiful, 2. Instant-Classic, 3. RPG Masterpiece.

I know I've described little in the game, but I think it's unfair for me to comment and post an honest opinion until I've played the game for a good amount of time and completed it (I'm playing in "Hard" mode by the way), so as soon as I've played it for a while (or passed it), you WILL hear more opinions/short-review in this blog about the game (without spoilers of course).

Sincerely:

-V

EDIT: I found this AMAZING review for the game (it's from IGN), here's the link (I really recommend watching it):

FF Tactics Advance A2 Coming Out!!

Well I'm super excited about "Final Fantasy Tactics Advance A2" coming out (who isn't?), so today I got my old copy of "Final Fantasy Tactics Advance" (for GBA) and started playing it again, and I'm glad to report that's its still full of the original fun and great gameplay that came with it when I bought it.

So yeah, I'm officially gonna buy A2 the day it comes out (I'm gonna try to be there first thing in the morning lol), I hope that GameStop brings plenty of copies of the game (so it doesn't sell out), I didn't reserve the copy of the game (they usually don't run out, unless its something like "FFXIII" or "Kingdom Hearts"). I expect and really wish that A2 brings the same great storyline and amazing fun and gameplay that its precedorbrought.

I've played every Tactics game that's ever come out (and proud to say I've passed them all), but what I really loved about "FF Tactics Advance" was that it introduced new features, jobs, races, and more insight into the world of Ivalice, I also enjoyed the fact that it wasn't so dark as "FF Tactics: The War of the Lions" (which I also LOVE) but didn't ruin its characters at the same time. FF Tactics Advance also introduced more features/changes into the battle system (an example would be laws and judges), all Tactics titles are amazing and I expect no less from A2.

I hope you're all excited like I am about A2, See ya!

More About Myself!!

Well, I want my friends and people around GameSpot to know more about me (not personal stuff, just basic stuff), well I've decided to let you in on a few more info. about me:

1. Music: Well, my favorite band would be "The Beatles", honestly they're the best band in the entire world that brought a revolution to Rock and Pop, their songs are known all over the world and even children to adults sing their songs. I also enjoy music by "Coldplay", "U2", "Radiohead", "Red Hot Chili Peppers", "David Bowie", "John Lennon", "Paul McCartney", "The Bee Gees", "Queen", "Michael Jackson", "Rolling Stones", "Sting", "The Police", and many more bands and artists (I mentioned my favorites!).

2. Literature: When it comes to books, I love them, all types (except gothic novels and such depressing stuff), I like to read TIME magazine and learn about the world by reading "National Geographic" magazine. I'm a BIG anime fan (aka: ottaku) and enjoy going to conventions with friends dressed up in Cosplay (I always write a blog post after each one) and hanging out at Borders Bookstore with friends. I enjoy fiction novels and novels about cooking (I like to cook lol, I'm learning new stuff little by little). I also like to read Archie comics every now and then to laugh a bit. I despise gossip columns and celebrity news and such stuff (its below me in my opinion).

3. TV Shows: To get through this part, I'm gonna name my favorite tv shows (not including Anime series): Lost, Heroes, Doctor Who?, Star Trek (all 5 series and 10 movies), Scrubs (LOVE SCRUBS!!), The Colbert Report, Jericho, and many more.

4. Movies: Wow, I have too many movies to write about here (maybe in another blog post about myself).

5. Interests: Computers and Technology, Enjoying Life and Living it with Honesty and Good-Will, spending time with my family, hanging out with friends, reading and watching news about the world (different types, sometimes politics as well), reading (different types of books and novels), video games (not addicted or all the time, but I play frequently), listening about other people's opinions on different things and sharing my own thoughts on them!!

Well there, now you know a bit more about me, next time I do something like this I'l include more about movies and photography, well thats all for now.

Sincerely

MY BIRTHDAY (May 8) IS SOON!!

Well my birthday is this thursday (May 8), I'm really excited, I've decided to purchase a Wii (a gift for me ^_^) and two Wii games: "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" (which I have been DYING to play) and of course: "Super Smash Bros: Smash" (another one to die for). There are a bunch of other games I plan to buy in the future (like Bleach, Resident Evil 4, Super Mario Kart for Wii, and a LOT of other ones [including GameCube ones I wish to re-purchase]).

This is really exciting, many people don't believe me when I tell them this, but I really won a Wii at TimeOut (a famous arcade) in one of those really-impossible-to-win-games that have awesome prizes, I WON THE WII (this was summer of last year). I gave the Wii to my brother-in-law (I love him like a blood brother, he helped me become the nerd I am today [and super proud to be] and introduced me to various interests in technology, turned me to a Mac/Apple-Fan, and finally introduced me to Star Trek [which I believe to be the greatest series of tv EVER, there are also 10 movies and #11 is coming out next year!!]), I loved him so much to give him my earned Wii (which I SERIOUSLY earned with $1, I'M NOT KIDDING, I swear on my trekkie/nerd honor). But I never regreted it, I knew one day I would have one for myself, my brother-in-law was never happier that night when I saw his eyes crying, and I have to say that giving is better than receiving (but no freaking way am I going to hand over my bought Wii!!!!!!!!!!!).

So yeah, I will post reviews of LoZ:TP and SMBS later (MUCH later, when I've sucked every last drop of fun out of both games). So yeah, I hope you all wish me a happy birthday this thursday!!

Sincerely:

Anime Convention/Cos-Play Attended Last Sunday!!

Well, last sunday some friends invited me to go to this awesome Anime Convention (said to be the biggest one this year), it was simply INCREDIBLE. People came dressed as FF characters, Bleach, Naruto, Death-Note, Vampire-Knight, and many MANY more anime series characters. My personal favorite was a person dressed as Vincent Valentine, he had amazing red-eye contacts (vampirish, it was really creepy yet cool), he wore EXACTLY Vincent's costume (I hugged the dude lol) and well, you just HAD to be there to get the feeling of it all. I love anime conventions because you can be your true-geeky-self or anime-self there (they had ff music, star trek music, all sorts of anime/sci-fi/fiction music playing!!).

It was my first anime convention (and it surely won't be my last), I plan to go dressed as Leon Squall (from FFVIII) to the next convention, I bought four accesories at the convention: Squall's "Sleeping Lion Heart" set (which is his ring and necklace, I have pictures below), but the metal-versions, not the silver or exclusive black-silver sets (but I plan to get those in the future, but not very soon). And Cloud's ring and necklace from Advent Children. Well to say the least, it was simply incredible.Sleeping Lion Heart NecklaceSleeping Lion Heart Ring

Getting a PS3 Soon!!

Well I'm planning on getting a PS3 soon (during May), now I was in a long mind-pondering-journey of either to purchasing: the Wii, or PS3. Now the Wii features an incredible new gameplay-feature, while the PS3 maintains the classic controller-gameplay perfect for RPG's/Shooters-Adventure/Action games (I LOVE RPG's). Now I love RPG's (and I just can't resist "Final Fantasy XIÏI", "Final Fantasy XIII: Versus", "Kingdom Hearts III", and many more!!). Also the graphics of the PS3 (and the High Quality DVD Compatibility) have indulged me to purchase the PS3, so soon I will start purchasing PS3 games and reviewing them, so stay tuned!!

Vampire Knight Manga!!

I went to Borders two days ago and started looking for cool anime series that I would like to buy, and after searching for a while I come to find this manga called: "Vampire Knight". Now I like vampires, and such topic-related manga/novels, so I decided to buy it and give it a try, and I'm proud to say my manga-interest-instincts never fail me!! The series is extremely intriguing with a romantic-mystery (sometimes 3rd or 2nd characters are comedic), anyone would enjoy this series (except people who prefer cartoon-comic manga, which is exactly the type of manga I HATE).

So if anyone is looking for a cool manga series that is both: mysterious-action and romantic (and sometimes comedic), with beatiful manga-art, I would seriously consider "Vampire Knight" as a tremendous choice. Below I've put an image of the three main characters (not including spoilers here), enjoy.

Bought God of War: Chains of Olympus, 5 Stars!!

Well on Saturday I decided to purchase the new GoW title, never having played GoW (except for the psp demo) I really didn't know what to expect (of course I had heard that it was an amazing/highly-popular series) so I decided to give it a chance, and I'm glad I did.

I obtained some videos from the game so I uploaded them to GameSpot (will do so after posting this blog-post. Now GoW is a favorite of mine because of it's high-intense/action-packed gameplay. The PSP doesn't see many of these action games (such as "Monster Hunter 2", etc. so fans of that genre will happily include GoW into their library of PSP titles.

Well to conclude, if you're thinking of buying "GoW: Chains of Olympus"you will definitely NOT be disappointed.

Live Long and Prosper

FFVII: Crisis Core, A Masterpiece for RPG Games!

I must say that I'm simply amazed with Crisis Core, it's incredible storyline, the graphics, it all mixes into one of the best RPG's you could ever imagine. FFVII was a revolution for the RPG series, it sprang a movie, two games ("Dirge of Cerberus"and now "Crisis Core"), and even a game that players could play on their cell phones ("Before Crisis").

But what truly is the best aspect about RPG games is the storyline, my favorite games are from VII-XII (and soon XIII), but before in the original I-VI FF games, the storyline was a bit dull. Of course it's not to say that they were uninteresting, but they lacked the quality of fascinating story that the later ones have. FFVII is a game that indulges the player into a the FF world itself, be it playing the fun mini-games (like chocobo racing), or battling monsters to train your characters and their materia to be the best of the best, or just keep beating Sephiroth over and over and trying to defeat Emerald and Ruby Weapon's. FFVII is an instant classic, and I have to say that I welcome "Crisis Core" into the saga with open arms.

Never has there been a PSP game that lets the player feel he's in the story itself, "Crisis Core" uses the same Action/RPG style of "FFXII", and it just goes so well with the PSP's graphics and functions. You can learn more about "FFVII" and it's prequel "FFVII: Crisis Core" at the following places:
