QFT I grew up when consoles were called simply nintendo had the nes to the wii but the wii was so badI sold it. Nintendo is not the nintendo I grew up with I can no longer support them. They have sold out all their old fans to chase casual gamers and non gamers. The cube was bad but it had it's moments that made it bearable, Nintendo was the 1st to do 3d gaming right with super mario 64 now just look at wii games how the mighty have fallen.yep and that is why i wont get a wii.Um if anything Nintendo is bringing back the fanbase that they had nearly 20 years ago...everyone. Nintendo is the only company out of the 3 that makes quality games people of all ages can enjoy, maybe thats anouther reason why its winning.
But I don't want games for my grandma to play, I want games for me. I agree with Hecker, Nintendo should start making games for gamers instead of sheep and alpha moms.
O, BTW, my first console was N64 and I also have a GameCube, no Xbox or PS2. I passed on getting a Wii because I'm not paying $300 (CAN) for GameCube 1.5. I didn't really like Melee to be honest (I guess it was the new combat mechanics), but I loved the original.
