@nathangray EA didn't do it wrong. 38 studios did.
And, comparing the budget of an MMO with a huge license attached to it, to a wholely original console release, is kind of silly.
Still, good job on Capcom for doing something new and being happy with it selling a million. I'd be absolutely THRILLED to see the industry be willing to do that more often. It seems the last 2 years has seen more original stuff compared to the unending parade of sequels. Capcom continues to churn those out, no doubt about it, but the new stuff is always great to see.
@vicsrealms You're really missing out. It's a fantastic series. If you can look past the old graphics, or you own a PS3 and can get the HD re-release, definitely give it a second chance. I did a false start myself way back when it first came out and now I buy the new games on release day.
@moviequest14 Both of the PSP games were original games as well. That's 5 total entries in the series.
Granted, 4/5 have been re-released already. And all 4 of those were not previously available on PS3 outside of backwards compatibility, which largely vanished for the PS3.
Still, I am greeting this news with a shrug despite the fact that I place the GoW series in my top 10.
I've gone back and fourth on my thoughts about DLC quite a bit. Sometimes I think it REALLY sucks and was clear they cut it from the game to sell it later. And sometimes it's a nice jolt in the arm that takes the game into something fun.
For example, most of the Borderlands DLC is superb. That largely comes from the fact the core game is so darn good, but the DLC itself has been extremely entertaining.
Of boredom I am assuming. He had to have died of boredom. Hell, I darn near died of boredom after only 4 hours with the game. Surely 40 would have finished me off.
