@xsonicchaos People are ranting about the coop because it MAY have been a wasted opportunity for something else, a longer game perhaps. So no, your analogy doesn't fit here. I'm not ranting though, just skeptical, I will reserve my opinion until I play the game of course.

Hmm, not sure about the crafting yet but I'm still excited about this game. Maybe I am a little worried that it won't be dead spacey enough, ie fear factor, because let's be honest, a dead space without fear is like elderscrolls without the exploration. It's going to be a good game but without its main essence it will never be a great game imo.
