It is so not fair. The warranty runs out ages ago..... so some people open it up out of curiosity, or to try fixes or in my case, just to clean it so it won't break. Now they extend the warranty. All I did was blow mine out and get the dust bunnies out, but now my new warranty is void...... god damn it.Guster900

As far as I understand it, multicore rendering will only help smooth out your fps. It wont do anything for lag related issues. Personally, I really didn't notice a big change between multicore rendering on or off.

You are confusing DX software and DX hardware... everyone with Windows 7 will get DX11 software- but if their hardware doesn't support DX11 features they won't getthose features.No DX11 hardware exist yet.

Does the steam suport webpage have anything to say about this? Have you tried deleating your .blob files? Steam should recreate them... make backups before you delete.

Go to troll wars form, cause the correct answer is always, the consoles i own are the best, the others suxors. In my case the answer is, the 2600... it created console gaming.

Heavy Rain and Allen Wake, may revive the genre. Time will tell.
