I like "AAA" production values, I'm just saddened by the lack of originality and gameplay excellence in most nowadays AAA games.
I think fewer devs and/or publishers will be able to afford "AAA" production values in the comming console generation, resulting in many devs retreating to self-financed or kickstarted indie development.

I feel like a lot of the polish and style that comes from high production values could be done without them at this point.
It's some of the best stuff this gen has to offer, the most hilarious thing people do on SW is say it's not an RPG or something. Stop playing video games and go roll some D20's then because this is the way the "genre" is headed.
How big do you think the average screen is? We're getting to the point where the average human eye wont be able to tell the difference unless you buy a screen too big to be practical.

how do you explain all the ipad 3 reviews raving over the screen? the pixel density of the ipad 3 is the equivalent of a 40" 4k tv.
Well I can think of a few reasons why there is raving over an Apple product.
It's sad because it should have done better than the broken POS Diablo 3 but the first month it wasn't even out on the PC, and it's a PC series, so I would wait a little before calling a flop.
