[QUOTE="JordanizPro"]Gears 3 took that crown Sorry Really? I made a poll and for as long as it lasted.. 80% said no to Gears 3 being graphics king. And not only that, Gears 3 got a 9.0 in graphics from IGN (didn't KZ3 get 9.5 in the same year?) With no mention of it being the best looking game on consoles, unlike KZ3, Crysis 2, UC2 and other games that have recently got that praise. If you want to use IGN as a source then you have to agree that Crysis 2 on 360 is graphics king[QUOTE="greenskittles"]
I'm the first to admit I always prefer playing the game that looks best on whichever console. There is nothing wrong with that and there is nothing wrong with the appreciation of outstanding visuals.
Uncharted 2 blew me away with how beautiful that game looked, even now I'd argue it's still the best looking game on any console. Yet for me I'd look at it and after 15 minutes I didn't really have a thought about it afterwards. Yes I occasionally sat and stared at the amazing scenary the game sometimes produced but it's never struck me as something so integral to the experience.
What is this obsession, with comparing graphics all day long? I know it's a place called System Wars I get it attracts fanboys who die by their respectable systems but it still doesn't answer my question. Graphics are at a point where for the most part, good is more than good enough and comparing which car model looks between Forza and GT is frivolous.
