Its funny because Avatar was exactly the same and everyone creamed over it.Whats all that about? It was average at best. To be honest it just shows exactly why Tim Burton is becoming boring. The only good character was the Cheshire cat because it was voiced by Stephen fry. The visuals were great but it just felt empty and soulless. Johnny Depp's mad hatter character was annoying as hell. He really tried way too hard and in the end I hated his character every time I saw him. Also that dance part at the end was one of the most awful and out of place scenes I have watched in ages. It was so forced and terrible especially with the song. It was quirky to the point where it just became monotonous to watch. The Avril Lavigne song during the credits was awful too. It had so many odd characters that could have worked well but they all just felt either annoying or pointless. Overall it just felt like a painfully shallow and dull film with only good visuals to make it stand out. Nowhere near as good as Tideland, which had a similar concept but did it much better. CGI can be great if done well but if used too much it becomes empty. The Imaginarium of doctor parnassus had amazing visuals but it also had an interesting story and characters to support the visuals. Alice in wonderland had the visuals but it lacked everything else. I would give it a 5/10.

[QUOTE="Bitter_Altmer"][QUOTE="MagikarpSplash"]Better than Spain? No way. And that's coming from an English guy.MagikarpSplashThats not exactly fair.Spain have a great team, but so do England, its just that they can't work together as well.I'd say on paper they've got around the same quality. Teamwork is a very underrated aspect of football. These days its all about what names you have in your squad. Its a reason why I stopped supporting club football and just watch it now. Good point, but I think most would agree that Spain have an overall more talented squad. England have been working well as a team since Capello joined, but I can't look past Spain winning it tbh. Yep.Thats why I think Spain will win.I wouldn't mind seeing England win, I'll be supporting them from Ireland seeing as a certain white flag fanatic nation cheated us out.

England are going to win. 8)
Rofl. Good joke.Made my day. England will crumble like they always do, will not progress past quater finals and Spain or Brazil will win.How would you know? If our players actually try hard then we'll do well. I just hope Rooney pulls a beast of a header each game, one of the best players in the world.
On paper you guys have probably the best team and yeah if Rooney is on form he'll be on fire. The media will destroy England again though.
