These days online is the decider if i buy a game. If its just single player i'll just rent it and beat it.

I'd possible try to get a bigger brand name like Sony, Sharp, or Samsung. Mind you you will pay a couple hundred more but it will be worth it in the long run.

RPM = Revolutions Per Minute. Basically how fast the disk can spin. To be honest, 5400rpm is just fine for a game console. Also remember that the drive has to be a 2.5inch (i think) notebook drive.
