If by "free" you mean pirated, then yes, but if you're only asking about them now, then start reading up, because I doubt anyone here feels like teaching piracy 101 right now.

If by "free" you mean "shareware/freeware", then year. Try Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. It's an alright game. There's also War Rock, which is fairly popular (though it blows).

Crap filmmaking. I just saw it last night.

Other than the wax telephone and the ashen girl, it was entirely lame. Cusack was pretty good, and so was Jackson (for his ten minutes), but there just wasn't much substance to the movie. Bug is a considerably better film, if you want interesting horror that revolves around one or two people in a single hotel room.

Also, Ratatouille kicks ass. Go see it instead.

Ah...drunk driving is illegal to protect you from the actions of family, friends, neighbors, and strangers from killing/maiming others due to irresponsible behavior.

You did state it wasn't the government's job to protect from potential harm from the actions of others. Therefore, YOUR STATEMENT IS INCORRECT.

Playing games with words doesn't change that fact.:lol:LJS9502_basic

Pardon me, but have you passed eighth grade reading comprehension? How your family, friends, and neighbors act only falls into the crosshairs of government when their behaviors infringe upon life, liberty, or property. Your neighbor getting smashed on Jack, high on pot and coming next door to murder you is highly unlikely to infringe upon your right to life, liberty, or property, as it ishighly unlikely to happen.

That is extremely hypocritical. . .if you want to destroy your own body, then you better not go to the doctor to fix it, or call the police when people rob you, or deposit your pot money in the bank.

When your family is affected by drugs like mine has, come back. You'll have a much different opinion.Silver_Dragon17

roffle mai waffle

I'm from the Oklahoma, you silly goose. We're all addicts down here, whether it's gambling, meth, or alcohol.

Beyond that, that is easily the dumbest thing I've ever heard. For starters, marijuana and alcohol don't destroy your body. I'm not a smoker so I'll leave pot to someone else, but I'm aware that red wine is splendid for the health of the heart. Further, I... okay, I don't know. I've lost you. What in God's name are you talking about?

The highlighted statement is false. Or are you against laws against drunk drivingLJS9502_basic
Last time I checked, all good laws (such as drunk driving laws) were enstated to protect life, liberty, and property.

So we should make more family "Matters"? And yes they are government matters.:|Silver_Dragon17
How would it be making more? History seems to indicate that a general prohibition of any substance increases demand for it. Prohibiting things like alcohol and drugs is the worst thing this country has ever done, for without it we never would've had such a problem with serious organized crime.

Beyond that, the government's only role is to protect life, liberty, and property, not to protect you from boo-boos and the irresponsibility of your family and friends. It only falls into the hands of the government when substance abuse reaches a level that severely limits your parents' abilities to provide for you, if you're a minor. The end.

As for making more family matters, what the hell do I care? It's not my family, and therefore none of my business how it's managed, so why are you asking me? Family matters are handled by the family, however they need to be handled, whether by divorce, intervention, or toleration. Again, the government has no business in my life (or that of anyone else) except for when I want it to protect me.

wahwahwah. dont do drugz! dey hurt u and dem 2!Silver_Dragon17
Boo-hoo. People gamble, and their families get hurt. People have fatal car wrecks, and their families get hurt. People eat enough hamburgers to make their hearts explode, and their families get hurt. Sons and daughters go homosexual, and their families get hurt. These are all family affairs, not government matters.

... why do I get the feeling the topic poster would consider Reefer Madness a valid enough source to post?

Long story short, marijuana isn't unsafe. It has never killed anyone, nor has it ever angered a person into killing someone else. There are artificial sweeteners on the market that are more dangerous than marijuana (which isn't saying much, now that I think about it).

In the end, what really matters is that, regardless of danger, the government has no business telling us what we can and can't do to ourselves.

Do not be flustered if your state sucks, my brother! There is still time to escape before it is smitten by the hand of God during hurricane season.
