Thank you ChocolateCake10 and s1wel. So for the most part Sports games playing them Online with other people seems to be pretty stable and okay from what it sounds like.

Now i'm just wondering how Basketball sports games are on the Playstation 3 Online (NBA 2K series and the NBA Live series)

I'm very satisfied with all my console purchases, I've had a blast with my PS3, I just wish it had more next generation games.....coneman1

How is Playstation 3's Online network now that they updated alot on it and continue to update on it and improve things on it (With the Playstation Store etc). Is it pretty stable and Lag Free for the most part (I know that all consoles have issues in this area with online play).

But for instance i'm a big big sports video gamer,hence my Screen Name:lol: If i'm playing (NBA 2K9 or NBA Live 2009 or College Hoops 2K8 etc) Will the Online features playing against other people and your friends on Playstation 3 be stable? or Will my online experience with playing any sports video games crash and freeze up on me or stop responding? etc

What has been your experience with playing Online with the Playstation 3 as opposed to just playing Single Player?

With all video game consoles having both it's Pro's and it's Con's and it's Issues. At times.

Are you fine with your purchase of your Playstation 3? (No matter which one you have the 60 GB 80 GB 160 GB Playstation 3) :)

I don't have any video game consoles (My 12 year old niece and 14 year old nephew have consoles),but no games on theirs that i like playing on,not yet anyways so that's why i'm still trying to find which console is right for me. Since i'm going to see maybe about Buying one here in a few weeks or next Month.

Ouch,i'm sorry to hear that ryanryan2525. Now this makes me worried to even Buy and Purchase a Xbox 360 (With Xbox Live) or heck even a Playstation 3 for that matter. If theses hacking things accore on Xbox Live and Next Gen Consoles?. But that's the digital age not everything is totally 100% SAFE and 100% SECURE and that also includes video game consoles with Online support.

And it should also be noted that just because some have gotten hacked into it doesn't mean that everybody that plays video games online with a console is evil or bad or mean or going to hack into your account ETC.

Their is still tons and tons of honest and decent kind and caring good people out there who play video games and play nice and play fair :). Just remember that.

Please forgive me for asking,but i'm just wondering what are some Reliable and safe websites to Buy and Purchase a Xbox 360 from? (That you have also purchased from before) And prefeably some Reliable and Safe websites that have a Money back guaranteed refund option (Incase something goes wrong)

And also is it completely necessary that i have and get a warranty for a Xbox 360 from Microsoft?

Ive used both.

1) The movies stream directly from the playon software on your pc (not through windows media player). Your ps3 is already set up to accept it.

2) You get netflix list of instant movies. I think its more like 10000. (the same number as xbox)

Here are some observations:

-with the ps3 there are more streaming stoppages for buffering.

-its preferable that you dont use wifi for any of it because of the bandwidth. At least one side of the connection has to be wired or it will probably have buffering problems.

-its not as userfriendly as the netflix menu on the 360 and with the 360 you dont need to stream it from your pc.

-imo the videos on the 360 look like they have better quality

-I rent blue ray movies from netflix and watch them on my ps3 (very nice)

It sounds great,especially with the Blu ray built in as well that's a great feature.

To the best of my knowledge, Xbox 360 and their games are region locked. So, a PAL 360 will not play NTSC games/dvds. Just buy one from your region. It will save you a headache.

And yes, buy a region free DVD player instead of trying to get a PAL console. Much easier/cheaper solution.

Thank you deltaboarder18,yeah after giving it some thought i'm just better off buying a Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 in my on Region of the United States. And then buying a fairly cheap Region Free Dvd Player on the side to play to All region's of Dvd's. Because like you said it would be easier and less of a headache.

And besides i can always Rent Dvd's on Netflix on Xbox 360 if that's the route that i go for what console i'm going to get. Since i hear Xbox 360/Netflix Service has a huge huge huge selection for Horror Movies (Both rare films and new releases) to rent :D
