BlazikenTails64 Blog

I have no good blog titles in mind.

Hey guys! :)

Yesterday I went to the local art gallery and they do this thing every year where school students can submit their artworks. I did it last year but I didn't bother this year. Although on of my Art class's projects is being displayed there which is a huge canvas full of stencils, including mine! :D But it's small and hard to see. :P I saw my friend's art, art from other schools like a sculpture of Kermit the Frog and Jar Jar Binks, There was this AMAZING arrtwork which is a guy completely made by electrical wires and cords, and underneath is a computer going: 10001100001010100 or something like that.

There were paintings, animations, a replica of Anne Frank's diary and to my surprise, canvas paintings of Vocaloids! :o Unfortunately the only Vocaloids I recognised was the Kagamines and Megurine. I didn't know there were more Vocaloid fans in my town! :o

Today I went to the shops with my parents. We just got food, Corpse Bride DVD, a pair of shorts and something else. :| But there were 3 people from the local Bowling Alley and Leisure Complex in.....MEXICAN SUITS! one ad a moustache. :| Most likely fake. They were singing with maracas and one had a stereo with Mexican music. They gave out flyers and a Complimentary pass for one Dodgem Car ride. they gave me one, and I couldn't stop laughing! :D We moved on at Big W and.....I heard the maracas again! XD

At GameTraders, I found Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 for only $34!!!!!!!! :o Mind you, here in my country video games are super expensive. POKEMON HEARTGOLD IS STILL EXPENSIVE. WHAT? At normal stores this Xbox 360 game is still $58. :( So we laybyed that along with two Adventure Time DVDS. We didn't have our discount card so we told the employee my name. It turns out there is someone in this town with the exact same name as me. We tried Mum's name and same thing! So Mum just got a new card. :| The employee mentioned that he found out there are people with the same name as him, and his name is spelled in a unique way. :P

I put The Wiggles on my iPod Touch. No regrets.

South Sydney Rabbitohs VS Canterbury Bulldogs tonight! Preliminary Final! Whoever wins this gets into the Grand Final and go against Melbourne Storm!

Some past NRL games have been pretty crap lately. the referees made some stupid decisions. Apparently one of them got sacked recently due to the stupid decisions! :o

Oh, go the mighty Rabbitohs! I have a mate from school that goes for the Bulldogs. :P

Well, goodbye! Going to go watch the game!

CQUniversity

No, I'm not starting University! I'm only in Year 10!

Hello.

Yesterday and today I went on an excursion to go to the CQU and TAFE to see what its like and to think about our future. It was fun, but none of it helped me with my dream of being an animator/cartoonist. :P

On Monday, we did numerous activities and listened. For lunch we had pizza, and I only got two slices of vegetarian and one slice of cheese! D: So my teacher gave me a banana along with some nuts and cranberries. He's awesome.

We went to the bushland and had to pick 10 different plants, and I think I was allergic to one of them. Then we used microscopes to have a look at them. Actually I don't remember much from yesterday. I know we got free stuff. A bag, a pen, lanyard with nametag, notepad (my teacher stole 2 from unwanted bags), a booklet and a sticker. We just mainly learned stuff like how to get certain careers and backups and how to get the right course and if you are really interested and we played Pictionary. :| Somebody already figured out that I was drawing a Chef, and I only drew a wok! :|

I just remembered at the hospital area we used stethscopes, those finger things that tell about your oxygen and such. Next we had to put on these glassess that prevented us from seeing and it was to show how people suffering have to manage. There were different glasses, and mine had one dot each eye in the middle, so I was alright. Everyone else's was blurry dots everywhere. Also, we did this thing where you out your hand underneath this blue ray of light after putting this wierd stuff on our hands. Then we had to wash our hands thoroughly and if our hands glowed, the germs were stil there.

Today we went to the TAFE and did some stuff, We played with toys and made stuff for Early Childhood. I made a koala unicorn that was supposed to be a giraffe. :| You know those baby toys with the mazes and wooden sphere things and it's sort of like an abacus? yeah, I played with one of those. Those things were my CHILDHOOD. :| At the Manual Arts centre we did this thing where you wear clothes and out your hands in a box and hit some sort of steel or something in the bottom and it melts!

At the Tourism area we learned so much about countries and such. Good questions from us were rewarded with a lollipop! I asked a question that has never been asked before by students apprently, so I got a lollipop. At the Nursing centre we did the stethoscope and those finger things again, but we also played with a skeleton!

Afterwards we went back to the university and did more listening. And interesting activites! For Lunch was....SAMMICHES! I took all of the vegetarian ones and left some for home. Then one of our supervisors (who is really, really awesome by the way) and the CQU gave us cake! It was very big (at least one slice each for about 60-70 students) It said "(Our school name) Uni Skills 2012". I got one slice and my friend got 3 slices, including the last one. :| I offered some cake and I just wiped off most of the icing and ate it. XD I also got icing and put it on his shirt, for fun. :P After that we did some ADVANCED GOOGLING! *dramatic music with thunderstorms for effect*

:|

But both days were pretty fun! I think I gained weight from the all the food, but it was nice. :) .........I don't want to gain weight! We all got a bag from TAFE too! It had a booklet, a pamphlet and a notepad! Well, this blog it way too long. Do people still read these? Huh.

Goodnight!

Shows I've been watching recently.

Hello! I am eating a fruit mince pie! :D

I want to tell you about some good shows that I've been watching.

First show is Sherlock!

This BBC series staring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman is an excellent take on the famous book by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It's set in modern times, with mobile phones and blogs. it's is brilliantly well done, and only has 3 episodes each season, (2 seasons exist) and the last episode made me cry!

Second show is Jackie Chan Adventures.

I loved this show as a kid. Jackie Chan stars in this action adventure cartoon. It's a great cartoon with different races and fighting. And magic! "Magic must defeat magic!" as Uncle says. This show is really funny, like when Mordecai the pig flew and shot laser beams out of his eyes due to...magic. You have to watch that episode to understand. It's a brilliant show, you should watch it,

Third is The Brak Show.

"Carnival of Feet!" This [adult swim] shows is really clever and random. It stars Brak and Zorak (from Cartoon Planet, Space Ghost and Space Ghost Coast to Coast) in Space Town with bonus characters like Mom, Dad and Thundercleese. it shows Brak in his teenage years, somehow, the timeline is confusing. There's this episode where Space Ghost cmes in wanting to arrest Brak so he's discussing the timeline of Brak and his shows and it's really confusing. Dad's advice is the best too, even if they make no sense whatsoever.

Fourth is Ed Edd n' Eddy!

I love this show too darn much. If you guys haven't seen this show you're missing out. It's that Cartoon Network show with the three Eds and their adventures at the Peach Creek cul-de-sac. Ed is the tall random least intelligent but strongest one. Double D is the smart and reasonable one but the weakest, while Eddy is the stubborn 'leader' of the group. They usually do scams in order to get jawbreakers. The show was based around the Summer vacation, but when the show got renewed, it showed them in school. EEnE also got a movie, where you finally see Eddy's Brother. The movie was so heartwarming!!!

Well, that's enough for now. See you! :)

-Lauren

Here's the EEnE movie if you are interested! :D

Or haven't see it.

Or have seen it but want to watch it again.

Minecraft this, Minecraft that.

Hey guys.

I notice that a lot of people have been playing Minecraft lately.

People at school play it.

People at the town library play it.

People on GS play it.

Am I the only one that doesn't play it?

I am more than willing to play the game. However, my parents wouldn't like me to pay for an online video game especially when it could slow down our internet usage.

I've tred playing Classic and it was extremely slow for me.

Is it really worth all the hype?

I thought it was just a game about buildings and things 'sploding in your face. :| Hehe, splosion cookies. :P

Anyway, I went to the town library and borrowed a few things including a novel of Phil of the Future!

And a giant book about characters from The Avengers comic series.

My hair is really itchy and dirty.

I watched an episode of Angry Beavers last night. Dag thought he gave birth to a mongoose! XD

I was humming the tune in class today and a classmate recognised it! :D

I think I have nothing else to say...except...

JAKE THE DOG DID TIER 15!!!!!!!!!

Goodbye.

MovieWorld.

Hey everyone it's good to be back! I want to tell you all about my trip to MovieWorld!

Now, I had to get up at 3:30 AM in the morning to catch the bus, as did the other 71 Media students. I sat at the back with my friends and howconvenient, the bus had a toilet. I could not sleep at all. :| We got to a Service station at Caboolture and had Brekky. I brought my own food but others bought their food from Macca's or had Krispy Kremes. :|

Afterwards we got back onto the bus and headed for the Gold Coast. After a few hours we got there..but early. The place wasn't open. :| When it did our teacher got our tickets and said we could be in groups and wander off! :D I stayed with my 4 friends. I had on the Green Lantern ride thrice. I wanted to go onto the Superman Escape ride and the Arkham Asylum one but they seemed to high and fast. :| And the Batwin seemed to high! D:

The Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster was closed, which pissed off one of my friends. Guess when it opened? WHEN WE ALL HAD TO LEAVE. :| We saw Ice Age 3 in 4-D (which is where water spits at you and the chairs go up and down for effect, but of course it wasn't the whole movie). We saw Sylvester, tweety, Bugs, Lola, Catwoman, Batman and I got my photo taken with Green Lantern and The Flash! :D I saw Batman beat some people up and the Looney Tunes did a few perfomances. And there was Marilyn Monroe. :| Yes, you read that right. :P

Oh, we also saw the Scooby-Doo gang! Shaggy was talking to us. :D At the Wild West area one of the rides (which I wanted to go on) was closed! D: There was a show around that earlier though.

At the Arcade me and my friend played Dance Dance Revolution. The first song was okay, but the second one was too fast! D: I won a Daffy toy from a game. :P I purchased a stubby holder and a bag from the WB Store. At the Harry Potter store I purchased a Chocolate Frog, Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, a Ron doll, two owl ornaments and a spider toy.

Afterwards we headed on home and I couldn't sleep on that bus trip either. :| I ended staying at my friends place for two days and now I'm home! :D

See you!

-Lauren

The Brisbane Trip 5: I hate technology now

When the boys got back we walked and walked until we went to a Rebel Sports. They were showing the State of Origin match. How nice. Marcus bought 3 footballs for work because his job is being a coach trainer person for little kids and the place he works at doesn?t purchase the sports gear.

Nearby was a cinema. I am unsure if there were several, but I have never seen a cinema in a shopping centre before. Near it was an arcade. It had claw machines, simulations, that thing where you get the hammer and see how hard you hid it, a photo booth, shooting game, AC/DC pinball and an arcade Tekken. I didn?t play any of them because I didn?t have the time to.

Now here?s where it gets interesting. We went to a JB Hi-Fi. We went in there earlier and I bought Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Chaos Tower for $10, but I didn?t look at everything properly. This time I did. In the DVD section, they had Adventure Time, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Invader Zim, Cow & Chicken, I Am Weasel, The Avengers: EMH, Hulk VS, Earthworm Jim, Robot Chicken, Johnny Bravo, Digimon, Pokemon, you name it! I wanted to buy all the CN shows and Hulk Vs., but I decided not to. Eventually we are getting a JB Hi-Fi in town. In the Anime section stuff was still overpriced but I wanted the Puella Magi Madoka Magica DVDs! Marcus and my parents ended buying CD?s. Oh, I also saw a fighting video game where you play as Cartoon Network characters including the PPG, Johnny Bravo, Samurai Jack and Captain Planet. CAPTAIN-FREAKING-PLANET. I didn?t get it tough.

Okay, the last shop I remember visiting was ?..*drumroll*. An Apple Store. I saw it on the way but we didn?t go into it. I?ve never been to an Apple Store before that day. The place was awfully crowded but everyone was so friendly! :) All of a sudden all of the employees started clapping and cheering. I guess somebody bought something or finally made up their mind. I saw how expensive Photoshop is. Way too expensive. After that we said goodbye to Marcus and we were on our way home!

I AM REALLY PEED.

I FIX MY COMPUTER IN ONE WEEK.

MY TOUCHPAD AND MOUSE BUTTONS WERE MALFUNCTIONING.

I RESET MY COMPUTER TO FACTORY SETTINGS.

THEY STILL MUCK UP.

MY USB MOUSE CAN STUFF UP MY TYPING

JUST

SO

The Brisbane Trip 4: Westfield

I appreciate those who are reading these blogs, they took a long time to type! I would leave them here for longer but I don't think that would do any difference! So, if you want to recap:

The Brisbane Trip

The Brisbane Trip 2: Football

The Brisbane Trip 3: Beware of Meanies

We said goodbye to my Uncle & Aunt and went to Westfield Shopping Centre. We followed Marcus on the way there because Brisbane is the biggest city I have ever been to. IT TOOK FOREVER FOR DAD TO FIND A PARKING SPOT. We finally got a parking spot after half an hour or so. We got inside and the place was huge! Dad called Marcus so he could find us. That took about 6 minutes. This shopping centre had at least 200 shops. Way too many.

We walked past a few shops and we lost Marcus. Well, he wondered off. But I saw something I could not believe. THIS PLACE HAD A STARBUCKS. CAPS LOCK. I never been to one before this day. I didn't buy anything, I just walked in. Dad got a Venta size coffee for $5 and he was happy with it. :D We went to some other shops but I wasn't interested in them so I stood outside. Mum got a new cover for her phone. I went to a Smiggle shop and I like everywhere there, but they are too overpriced. I went to an EB Games (they were having a huge sale) and got Street Fighter Alpha Anthology for $15. I'?s pretty fun, but complicated. I went to a GameTraders and I wanted everything there, but I told Mum that I wanted nothing so we could get home sooner. (So many Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards! I wanted the Zexal ones so badly.) There was also a giant plush Hatsune Miku head.

I went to an ABC shop and there was so much stuff! The D-Generation, Mother & Son, The Gruen Transfer, Beached Az and so much Doctor Who stuff. Wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff. There were different versions of "Keep Calm and Carry On" posters, but they ran out of "Keep Calm I'm the Doctor" posters. :( We then got some food! We had Oporto and Tacos. Which were overpriced and tiny, but nice. After we were done, Marcus and Dad went to move their cars, because if you leave it there for more than 3 hours, you get charged. Seriously, who PAYS for parking? Turns out Marcus was seconds away from moving his card before it was 3 hours. Mum & I had a look around the shops, but I was scared. BECAUSE WE WERE IN THE FASHION AREA OF THE CENTRE. CAPS LOCK YET AGAIN.

Part 5 tomorrow.
