Some of the better weapons in the entire game are available immediately so there's no reason why anyone shouldn't be able to compete right from the start.
DICE has actually defended spawn camping/trapping as a legitimate game play tactic in the past, (when people complained about it in BF), so don't expect it to change anytime soon in their games.
Yeah I'm torn between wanting authenticity and having a story which actually makes sense. I'm 100% confident these early humans will be speaking perfect English and I think that will take me out of the story, (even though it makes sense from a game play perspective).
Yeah I enjoyed my time with it but this game simply wasn't as good as the first. I appreciated the amount of work the developer put into it, and I love the art style, but there's just waaaaaaaay too much padding. It's like they wanted to make this huge, epic, lengthy game but went too far. There's so much needless backtracking through the same, (often empty), areas over and over and over.... There's actually too much to do in this game.
Activision makes sure that every COD game receives solid scores, (from the major media outlets), every single time no matter what. And we all know what I'm talking about. Yes, it does happen in this industry which can be as corrupt as it gets at times.
