Oh I remember hearing about this pic. Apparently it caused some controversy as some people we're appalled to see the smurfs suffering the calamities of war (gruesome in other pics even) and complained. The creator's responded with something like this: "People are so desentisized to real-life violence/suffering that we decided to depict the smurfs to cause a bigger imapct."

I thought it was rather ironic and interesting. Anyways, i'm babbling. Enjoy this nugget of information SW.

I don't want to sound to sheepish, but shouldn't the thread title read: "Jack Thompson EVEN hates the Wii!" seeing as most people (this forum dosen't count) love the Wii.

The only reason there was a SNES is because of sega with the genesis. Nintendo wanted to milk the NES for as long as possible, just like it does with its games.

If you were around back then, I was a huge NES, SNES and genesis fan, you would know that isnt true.

And that's why we should be thankful this is a competitive market. If we have a Sony/Nin/MS monopoly like most Fanboys wish we would have the same console for as long as its milkable. We should all be thankful that a PS2 like domination won't repeat itself.

I have one and it's lacking. But i'm not stupid enough to judge a console's whole life on the first 6 months.

Dude it has nothing to do with that whatsoever. Its the principal of thing, I mean dude think about it.. Its been a decade since we have had multiple disc games, the Gamecube and PS2 for cryin out loud didnt even have any multiple disc games, this is suppose to be "next gen"

It's PRINCIPLE for god's sake. I hope english isn't your native language. The Gamecube had RE4 and Killer 7 in two disks, both were awesome, AWESOME games. If you want to miss games like that because of teh "principal" of it, be my guest.

All in all PS3 is bad right now, and dosen't have anything REALLY promising until the Q4 this year. Also you forgot LAIR, but I wouldn't think too highly of that game.

Here I though Wii could surf the internet for something like Ebay - lol Anyway I provided proof of my Bib from copied and pasted text wich is easily varified for even the least tech savy Wii parade of fanboys.
