@Toysoldier34 @Blue_Tomato I get that, but normally it is the developers responsibility to ensure the game work with the latest drivers. Having the hardware manufacturer make new drivers for your game to make it work is not something you can rely on.
I am a game developer and I do not understand why a game needs to be dependent on nVidia making new drivers for it. The developers did not test the game with current generation of drivers? It crashes all the time for me, unless I turn off TressFX and vertical sync.
Gamespot, please repost a new review when the game has been patched, say in a couple of weeks. Right now, I have no idea if the game is worth buying once the server issues are resolved, as the review only talked about bugs and nothing else.
That is sad, because I am half way through Crysis 3 and I got too bored to finish. I guess I have to, so I will get back to it later. I played through Crysis 2 several times on the other hand.
I don't believe it is because of us gamers, Crysis 3 just lacks the magic other games had. It just does not click as well.
Getting top of the line cards is not as fun as it used to be. I can still run most games on high settings with my aging 580GTX card, there is simply no games that pushes the limits anymore since the game industry is all about consoles.
Hm, there are a lot of improvements which are not related to economy. Higher framerate, higher resolution, longer drawdistance with less noticeable detail popping and more detailed textures.
Building an auction house is not that easy, why would Valve put a lot of money and efforts into making this if it would actually decrease the sales of their full priced games?
I know I and a lot of others would simply just play through games, then sell it immediately after finishing it.
