So this year I've been going solo playing single player games only. I'm thinking of getting a 12 month for $45 from Target. I have these games that I got for single player but also have an online portion which are ME3, Borderlands 1 (general knoxx too hard on solo), and Far Cry 3 which I haven't gotten a chance to play online. I also have Gears 3, Reach, MW2 that I'll play also. Are these games worth paying for online? I'm not interested in Blops 2 but I might get Halo 4 which is also on sale for $40. How does Far Cry 3 multiplayer hold on it's own? I think of Gears as a single player game but I had a blast with the multiplayer. Is Far Cry 3 the same? I'll also get Gta V which will have online also.

I play a lot of Skyrim so I guess I can balance it out by playing single player if I get bored of online for a while. But this just means I'll be spending more time online since the xbox live timer goes down by the day. Which is why I have been a silver member because I don't like how your basically paying xbox live for a week when your out on vacation. This will also be my return to online but my last year of paying for xbox live since PS4 is speculated to release next year during the holidays which I'll be transfering over too. So if I get Halo 4 it will be my last Halo since I don't care about gears judgement either or any other exclusives. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this, I usually don't type this much.

TL;DR is it worth paying 12 months of gold for playing online on these games? - ME3, Borderlands 1, Far Cry 3, Gears 3, MW2, Reach, and maybe Halo 4.

Seeing as how the game is still new, I don't think we'll be seeing a sale this month. But I'm looking to save money and while I never preordered before, I already had GTA in mind since I usually wait for sales nowadays. Halo 4, Blops, and a few other november releases weren't even on sale during Black Friday, but is it still possible for a Farcry 3 sale after Christmas or even halo? Thanks

Far Cry 3

sukraj
this game, but only if it gets a 9 or above. I'm just that picky about games. I only get games on release if it gets 9+ and I haven't made a bad decision yet.

I know it would be cool if there was a gun moll character like Christina Hendricks from Drive.

I used to play it a lot. I hate high power pistol noobs and dynamite though. Double Action is where it's at.

I haven't played any of the Fallout 3 dlc yet but I'm looking forward to it since I got the GOTY edition last wednesday, but I haven't even opened it yet because I'm busy playing Hearthfire at the moment haha. but New Vegas > FO:3 mainly because the characters are much more interesting, weapons and role play, but FO3 still had the best setting, i actually liked the metros

I've had Skyrim since launch and really the only quest breaking bug I had was not advancing to second part of the The Frosworn Conspiracy. I don't get what people are saying about bugs.

Yea it's a good deal, just make sure to check online if they have the promotion still going because usually they go on for a week. I traded in around 37 ds games that my cousins handed down to me and two xbox games that have no replay value at all, and I got a $220 gift card, so I'm all set for Halo 4, a 12 month sub, Skyrim DLC and GTA V

At Bestbuy you would get exactly $54 for all them.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=pcat17093&type=page

This link will tell you the trade in value for the games, use the searchbar, and if you scroll all the way to the bottom under "this weeks offers" it says you will get a 100% bonus trade in credit when meaning it will double the price of what you see. ie Modern Warfare is $10 but it doubles to $20.

I bought a 1600 msp card to get downloadable content that is on sale only to find out it's exclusive to gold members only. My main account has a silver membership. Is there any other way to get in on this deal? I have a free 1 month gold trial account, would it possible to add the points to that account and purchase the dlc from there? And would it be accessible to my main account and across all accounts on my xbox?

Also, do microsoft point cards expire if I don't scratch for the code after sometime?

Thanks
