Some of these are amazing ideas, especially for those trilogies.

Does anyone else have a suspicion that Sony is holding back a Rachet collection and a Jak collection because they'll need something big to promote when the "Wii 2" comes out? Same week releases perhaps?

Maybe take a break, watch some movies and TV. Read a book. If your talented enough, write a book! Normally what gets me excited to game is movies. For example, movies like The Mummy (and sequels) and National Treasure (and it's sequel) have always fascinated me and I always thought they would make excellent video games. Along come Uncharted and Uncharted 2, and I buy a PS3 just to play them (UC2 is what really won me over). That's probably not the best example seeing as that's not on your preferred console but there are loads more...

Maybe do some old school gaming, or even just casual games. Just seems like you've overgamed a bit, the passion should return (it always does for me).

My next question would be, is it worth it, but asking that in a PC forum is a mistake, knowing the money PC Gamers spend to play games at 60 fps with insane graphics, etc. Seems like a waste of cash when you could be playing GT5 for a fraction of the price...

To give another analogy, more video game realted:

This is like asking if the Sonic Games were better when Sega had a console!

I see similarity in the decline of awesome inCrash and Sonic...

Maybe I'm just stupid, or maybe I don't understand what playing with three screens actually does, why three screens?

Also, I notice that most people play racing games on these, is that all they're good for?

Perhaps the two outside monitors act as windows? =S

Do these games have special settings allowing for this kind of display?

Mortal Combat Collection does sound like a waste since most fighting games change very little from sequel to sequel. New characters and backgrounds? Lame. -.-

...The Saboteur

Namgis

Forget my earlier recommendations, THE SABOTEUR! That game was awesome. If you haven't played it look it up, for sure.

Here's the general idea:

You are an Irish Race Car Driver in WWII-era France (and Germany) in a GTA-esque world.

And if you're a completionist or trophy-collector(?) this game will give you hours of gameplay.

I'm not actually an achievement hunter, but I liked the game so much, I didn't want to put it down after beating the campaign so I completed all the Free-Play Challenges (think pidgeons in GTA IV) and have 1000/1000 Gamerscore...

Speaking from absolutely no experience with any of these games or their predecessors, I would go Killzone 3.If you're a 360 owner, I suggest buying the other 2 on 360, rather than PS3 (online component is often better on 360, more headsets, larger player base, though things have been evening out as of late). If you just mean getting on of those games, I personally am going for Crysis 2, if only for the hype.

In reference to MAG... I don't believe $30 is worth it. Maybe if you get it with a headset for $65 (that's how I got it). I'm an avid Halo Reach player and playing MAG felt like a massive downgrade. I think I was looking for COD on a large scale, but, the graphics aren't as good as COD, the gameplay isn't as good as COD and the sense of being in a larger conflict is non-existant. This is of course my personal opinion. It's not a bad game, in fact I quite enjoyed it. It just can't be compared with AAA titles with awesome multiplayer. Truth be told, theBattlefield 1943 demowas more fun for me, to compare it to a game built with the same audience in mind. Read some reviews perhaps before making a final decision.

If that's addicted then I'm much worse.

First, I have a 360, a PS3 and a Wii. Plus I just got a new PC, which I plan to game on.

My backlog right now is near 9 games, including games like RDR and U2 (yes, I have yet to experience that glory, and I thought the first was AMAZING).

Not only do I get the urge to buy games when I see a store, I get them every time I see a new game release, a flyer with deals on games, even looking at XBLA.

Maybe We're all addicted and need serious help...

Will I be able to take a 3DS to rehab? =D

...AWESOME!

Which PS2collections (released or unreleased) are truly worth the price tag. Even mention packages you think should be made (Rachet and Clank? Jak?)

I only invested in my PS3 last year, so it came with a copy of God of War Collection (I honestly don't see why I hadn't bought either game on PS2). It was fantastic tocatch up on the series and was a great way to start my PS3 gaming career (ironic, since I hadn't touched my PS2 in over a year at that point).

I would love to hear some other opinions on the Tomb Raider Trilogy. I haven't playeed any of the three, but comparing that package to say the Sly trilogy, one clearly has better, more reputed games.
