I'm planning to buy one when they become available again. I work as a programmer, it's exciting to see a computer so cheap.

[QUOTE="BoristheBlade1"]

I want to see what video files it will actually play first. I'm interested in running XBMC on it.

I presume you know there's a video showing XBMC running on it? http://www.raspberrypi.org/archives/571 It can play full-HD video comfortably, as it has a fairly decent GPU.

Yeah I have seen the video. I'm just curious what file formats it will play with ease. So far they have only said the gpu decodes H.264 files.

I just posted this in another H4 thread.

I love the Halo games, but part of me feels they need to move on to something new and part of me is pumped this is coming out. I'm just sort of sick of blowing $59.99 on their games then blowing $20.00+ on map packs. Halo 3 I bought three map packs 3 maps in each and I think I bought two map packs for Reach. Can you say squeeze... Do they have George Lucas working for them or what?? Yes I had a blast with Halo 3, but this will be the third game since Halo 3. What is it really??? Same game with updated graphics, some new maps and a campaign that will keep us busy. But will the Campaign be relevant??
I don't know...
I feel innovation is getting tossed to the side with most new games... It almost seems like the 343/ bungie guys ( or whatever they go by now ) can't really come up with anything new. I almost feel like game developers think gamers are **** dumb and will buy recycled games that are almost 10 years old. Halo 3 was released in 2007 just to let you know...If you were to compare Halo 3 to Halo 4 I bet it won't be that huge of a difference with graphics. I know the game isn't out yet, but it should. My predictions.. $59.99 + 2-3 map packs of 3 maps per DLC. 2400 ms points for more maps..

Yes I want to buy this game and I probably will. Hopefully it goes on sale fast.

There is so many reasons. Lets start with the most obvious.

The game just isnt that good. In fact it was never that great. It was a good game back in the day but in todays world the game is dated. Its influence over the industry is very bad. The fact that other superior games, creative games ,get overlooked but COD sells 20 million on a yearly basis is pathetic. Its says to game designers they dont need to be creative, just make a medicore shooter

Call of Duty simply has nothing to offer the game industy yet is the most successful franchise in existence today.

It also happens to be the have the most broken multiplayer experience to ever exist in MP gaming. Really i can't name one reason to like it. I think the topic should be changed to why do so many people "like" Call of Duty. What is so special about it? Its just another game to me. I'll never understand the love for that terd of a game.

I have had this game since launch and just bought Nexuiz and G.C.I seems better to me. On my Xbox 360 the last update to G.C.I screwed it up a bit. I noticed more lag and games getting dropped so hopefully they can fix this soon..

Then you know where to give your feedback. Battlelog forums and not here. DICE don't look here

Am_Confucius

yes we should all go to the ea forums to make constructive critsism so our accounts get banned. blind fanboyism saying the game is very young. i bet that bc3 will have the exact same problems as the previous games. BF as a series has only gone downhill instead of adding stuff they have took away stuff like battlerecorder ,mod tools, and more custom server options. even consoles would benefit from some of the stuff they have removed like battlerecorder

You think they "removed" Battlerecorder? Let's see if you will make any sense in your next post.

Why is it saying I posted that? I never wrote that...

Relax the game is still very very young. It takes a long time for games to reach their peak in terms of elements and fixes like this. Im sure BF2 wasn't the golden stunner it is now when it launched. Things have to get feedback to be fixed so people enjoy it

seanmcloughlin

Um... No. Private matches has nothing to do with being a young game. They chose not to add it. What about servers dividing parites? They game is great, but lacks basic features that have been in FPS games for years. This game isn't mind blowing and revolutionary for the gaming community so...

Yes I do I have even tweeted to them. They don't listen so..
