The Palestinians shot rockets into Israel for 3 weeks, before Israel struck back.

During those 3 weeks, Israel told the Palestinians that if they didn't stop, Israel would be forced to fight back.

The Palestinians didn't care. They fired more rockets and then murdered 3 Jewish teenagers who were on vacation..

And THAT is when Israel finally attacked the Palestinians.

"Palestine" is the name the Romans used to call the Jewish state of Israel.

At the time they named it "Palestine", there were Jews living there - there were no MusIims back then.
