If this game did not have online capabilites, would anyone pay money for it? I seriously doubt it. It is all about the multiplayer, being able to share maps, and all that jazz. Warhawk a game with only multiplayer, came out at $40 dollars right? Therefore I think LBP should come out at $40 dollars. I personally would go out and buy it, as of right now it still seems like a rent first type of thing. And seriously guys, quit saying he's the only when quite a few others in here(who are actually interested in gaming aka on gamestop) agree with him.(I don't).

So many creatively inept people here....It saddens me. T_T "Just because we don't like LBP doesn't mean we don't like creativity!" /Quoted the future's near contradicting quote for the game...where you are almost limitless to create stuff.Symphonycometh

That is a pretty ignorant statement. Creativity isn't limited to map making and custom characters like it is in LBP.

I have a hard enough time figuring how to drive backwards in games like twisted metal. I can't imagine trying to reflex into shooting someone with inverted controls.

I really liked the online play of the first one. It wasn't amazing, but definately enjoyable. I mean, does it look boring? No it looks absolutely intense and amazing! Will it be boring we shall find out.

Best: Resident Evil 2 for the ps1 is amazing! Played through countless times and through all the modes. Also without saving/dieing.

Worst: Outbreak: rented for half a day, then convinced the guy it wasn't working and got something else.

I was definately thinking this. I would just love being able to go online and imagine what other games I could go into.

First of all, not all of us kids make $20 an hour... I make $60 for a full days work. And while this game should be full price, games in general should not cost $60 dollars. And like the guy said, I would much rather play this on a psp than a ps3.

Fallout three looks so neat. The cross between an rpg and an fps, how many others of those are there?

I really like reading and watching videos on LBP, but honestly I can see where this guy is coming from. To me it seems like it plays like a glorified mario. All I'm saying is he has a point that this game seems like something that should be downloaded from PSN or on the psp. And as far as creativity goes, I think this game while innovative in certain places isn't as original as a few other games coming out AKA SPORE and fallout 3. And as far as a story mode goes... I have this feeling like it won't be anything worthwhile. And I think alot of other games are better for a casual gamer. I don't think this game will be fun without playing with friends online, and if you don't play alot on the ps3 you probably don't have any friends on there. Being able to just hop on and play a few rounds in a fps or a game in madden seem better for the casual gamer. BUT I do like the game, and wish it the best.

Flames welcome.
