I plan on renting it, because the single-player story seems amazing, but I know I'll prefer cod4's online play as the Battlefield series is too much explosions for me personally, but I know it may suit others.
One category doesn't require more skill than the other. While a RTS might require a little more thought and intelligence, an fps requires quicker reaction.
Euro 2008 while has some things I like such as amazing looking close ups, passing meters, and I pass to who I want more often.
Fifa 2008 is so much better. Not only is it alot deeper, but the game plays so amazingly. Though you may dislike it at first because it is rather hard to figure out, but when you work the ball around and finally get that through ball past the last defender and on to goal it is oh so beautiful.
NHL 2008 also got amazing reviews, but I haven't played it.
Battlefield by far! It's single-player looks like it will actually be fun to play out, not to mention the always good multiplayer. Though CoD4, I believe to be the best multiplayer fps game for ps3.
