@frika153: Wait what is $200? You could get the MMO and single player for $35 total at one point. I doubt either will cost more than $60 at launch so $120 total for non-backers.
@UniversalPie: Umm, only the hills circling the landing zone are custom, and this isn't an actual area in the game, just a quick demo, the landing zone is just being borrowed from an asteroid location.
Hopefully this is a good move for both companies. The 2007 acquisition of Havok seemed related to Intel's Larabee strategy which fell apart years ago. I'm surprised they held on to them for so long since they shutdown other software products when consumer Larabee was cancelled (Project Offset).
I'd guess Bethesda announcing a new Fallout or showing Doom 4 publicly. TES is too soon, they want more mileage out of their engine and I doubt they'd do another on Skyrim's engine.
This is honestly among the worst I've ever seen anyone play anything. Like watching basketball game where no one can dribble and aren't sure which team they're on.
@Gencic @dave70292 TBH the PC to run this at 90 FPS ( needed for VR) or even 60 @4k doesn't exist. Not even for a billion. Time is worth a lot of money in this case. 5-10 years from now should be possible for less than $ 2k.
