Honestly after I beat the campaign and logged a half dozen or so multiplayer hours the game lost all interest to me of course it still looks great but i never really enjoyed playing it.
Sony specializes in making hardware (tv, blu ray player, cameras etc...) so they know how to make reliable hardware that lasts for years. Where as microsoft specializes in software, besides the xbox/zune they dont have any other hardware products, hence the 360 is built like a piece. Da_bomb101
I'm writing this in reply on my Microsoft ergonomic keyboard while using my intellimouse both good bits of hardware along with scores of other great controllers. Or do they not count? Imo logitech is teh godz for mice.
Also as a rule of thumb you can have something done fast, well, or cheap. pick two.
And While that looks contradicting believe me it is. I too believe m$ didn't do their homework on this one but to say m$ has no other hardware experience is a load.
Additionally sony has had major problems with both ps1 and 2 that did not have to happen. something about a plastic gear train in the ps 1 and i think there is some lawsuit pending on the ps2 dont remember the details.
Barring the obvious Sales chart news. Lemmings own on average 5 or so titles (don't remember the exact number) for their 360's and this was in like early 07. I would argue that more games make for a better system. When I was younger the N64 won in my mind any way because of its greater number of superior games compared to the PS1. The playstation 2 however has the benefit of both quality and quantity. i.e. While the xbox and GC were offering great games at or around the same rate as the playstation2 they did not have the console sales of the playstation2. All other things equal PS2 wins easily.
I doubt this generation will have that disparity in sales.
