I think game developers need to not just "think out of the box" but throw the box out. there are always new games coming out... but they tend to become just more of the same thing... like playing games from 5 years ago with just better graphics!

I think the next big "thing" in gaming will be something so different and unique that it will need a whole new term to define it... but in the mean time StarCraft 2 will keep me waiting like a four year old on Christmas eve!

As excited as I am about StarCraft 2, I still would like to see Ghost becoming a reality! Was watching some in game videos I had downloaded a while back with regards to the multiplayer side of Ghost and it looked real great... it then lead me to think of the following... what you guys think?

What if StarCraft 2 was a standard RTS but allowed you to take the FPS or RP position of main characters at certain points of the the game ie. when a ghost is seting up a nuke strike, you go into a FPS or RP mode. I think this would give you a closer feel of the actiction and would make game play intense!

I know that PC hardware and software is at the stage that it can be done... with Quad Cores and DX10 I don't see why games in the future could be like this!

Read the SC2 Q&A article on Gamespot and there you will read that there is NO 4th race!

It all will depend on her interests and hobbies! Try to match your game choice to match her interests and hobbies. In other words if she like taking her poodle for a walk in the park and reads M&B romantic novels... don't try buying her F.E.A.R! But if she is sport crazy and knows the birth dates of all the players of her favorite team... get her a sport game!

I think that we all could be having StarCraft2 under our Christmas tree this year. It is always the best time of the year to relaease games that are epic! But I hope I am wrong and that it is way, way earlier than that!

This is a question that need not even be asked... StarCraft! Just check Blizzard's site for all the awards it has brought in and it still remains one of the most popular tourney games played!

Yes for two reasons...

One... Because the game follows from the orignal and Brood Wars, you will have a far greater understanding of the story line and the units and game play tactics. (If you buy it now, you should have just about enough time to learn some of them!)

Two... I think that all 'true' games need StarCraft in their collection... after all it is the game of the last century!

Besides all of that, it is a great game, sure, some of the newer RTS do have better graphics and other stuff, but StarCraft has that 'X' factor that very few have... plus join thousands online who still play the game very competitively.

Buy it... you will enjoy it!
