@MJ12-Conspiracy: I understand your sentiment, but I think it's OK buying from a bad company if they release a good product, to send them a message. Crash was well worth it. Good behavior should be encouraged.
The 3DS is on it's seventh year now, and it's still getting some games, so I could see the Switch lasting awhile. It's really hard to say, though. It being a hybrid console, it's its own thing, there's really nothing to compare it to. In the end, Nintendo will do whatever it wants. They don't play by the rules.
They might want to look into selling the Switch without the dock if they're going for multiple people owning one per household. I don't really see this happening though. It's not a full portable, it's a bit too big for that.
Thought the game was great. Combat was a little frustrating, so I'm hoping that's improved in the sequel, but the game is great fun. Even though you build stuff with blocks, this game is absolutely nothing like Minecraft.
It's not surprising a couple of Thor actors are missing. They figurative and literally killed off the Thor universe with Ragnarok. As (seemingly) one of the few who actually enjoyed the previous Thor movies, I found Ragnarok a bit disappointing.
The things that made the books so great was the creativity. Not all were winners, but they tried. The best books were about the characters and their relationships, as opposed to the new movies, which I'm not really sure what the overall goals are. Rey, Finn, and Poe are supposed to be the new big three, yet they still feel like completely separate characters that don't have anything to do with each other.
In the books we got to see Han and Leia's family grow, we got to see Luke actually do what Return of the Jedi set him up to do. In the movies, Han and Leia split up, and Luke becomes a hermit who has given up on the Force. Who came up with that and thought that would be what people want to see? And why do I feel like I still don't know anything about Rey, who is supposed to be the main character?
A live action Star Wars TV show could be great. It could also not. I've lost interest in new extended universe stuff since they killed off the old one. I understand why they did it, but I was hoping they could replace it with something at least as interesting as before. But it hasn't happened. Oh well, here's hoping for the best, expecting the worst!
