I'm Still Alive

I haven't made a blog in so long, and I've not often posted in any forum other than the Star Wars one, so I'm just saying that I'm still alive and kicking.

How've you been, anyone?

Anyone ever catch the Fall Guy?/Sherlock Holmes

I've finally gotten to level 19. Now only one more till I get into the 20's. Hopefully it'll come quick, since I plan on making some submissions and postings. I'm also less than 100 posts shy of getting 3,000 posts on the site, which is great.

I'm also thinking of seeing Sherlock Holmes when it comes out this month. What are your opinions of the way Sherlock is portrayed, and how the movie will be?

Personally, after reading Sherlock Holmes, I find that they may have made him a little too strong, since I always assumed Watson was the muscle in the book. Of course, it could be a younger Sherlock Holmes in the film.

Darn the Internet!

*Note* I made this blog on my parent's computer.

Well, my Internet went out yesterday. Now, you may say: "Just fix your hook-up" or something similar. I tried, and darn it, it didn't work.

My whole connection was down to all my computers. None could connect. My dad tried everything, and nothing worked. He went out and got a new hook-up thing from Wal-Mart last night, and finally got it working this morning.

Now you may say: "Well, things should be all fine and dandy now, right?" hehehe Wrong!

Of the three computers in my house, the one that I use the most that's in my bedroom still does not have access to the Internet. I can't get online to do anything. It's almost funny because I planned on playing games with some friends online soon, but until it gets fixed there's nothing I can do but play single-player.

I don't even know how to discribe it for anyone on here to see if you could help. I don't know any of the things my dad has used.

Word to the wise: Don't trust the Internet and wireless hook-ups!

By the way, got the new Star Trek movie on DVD today... Was awesome!

Here's a song to go with this blog as well. Nothing better than a rock song.

Welcome to adult-hood?

Well, this may be a couple days late, but I'm postin' it.

The year was 1991. The date October 18th. Time 12:34 PM.

That was 18 years ago, the day I was born, which means I'm offically 18. A legal adult. :D

Only thing is, I am still in high school, and living at home. So I won't be a real adult for another couple years. :P

Or, at least, till I move out. Probably after college. Which is good, because I live only a few miles from it, so no worries about a dorm or getting an apartment closer to the school.

I'm afraid of growing up and my future life, but I'm still young. I've got plenty of time.

Another Entertainment Quiz

Here is another quiz I've made about TV, movies, video games, and books. Just like the last quiz, half are multi-choice questions, half are true or false.

Good luck. :D

Please forget the spelling of private wrong on the first question. I didn't notice I didn't put the "a" till after I finished it. I also notice I forgot about the "r" at the end of Joker. Maybe it is about time I get a new keyboard, eh? :P

Finally, a level up!

After being level 17 for what seems to be almost two months, I have finally gotten to level 18, Land Shark. :D

Although, I do not know what Land Shark means, or what show it is based on.

Anyone know?

Also, how has life been to you all lately?

What's up peoples?

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. Been busy with school and stuff. But got some free time tonight, so here I am.

Watched the Bleach movie, Memories of Nobody, last night on TV. I liked it. I even liked it a lot more than I expected to. Good movie. Not the best animated movie ever, yes, but it was worth it. Good ending. I'm not ashamed to say I got a little... choked up.

So, how have things been with you all?

The School Year Overview

Like I said in my other blog, it's the 12th year of school. I would've made the blog longer, but I had to hurry. Anyway, I'll post what I'll be doing this school year right here.

As for my 4 day weeks, that's because I'm homeschooled. My mom makes my brothers and I do 4 day weeks, which good for us. I think it's because she has so much work with us, doing school with us and grading, so she made her weekend longer, to make it easier. We just have a little longer school year, is all. We get done as soon as we get all 180 days done. Then I'm done forever! :D (Well, other than any college class I'll take.)

Anyway, here's what I'll be doing this year. Random order.

Accounting - My math for the year. Not sure what's all in it yet, though.

American Government - Kind of like history, shows how the government came to be and stuff, so not bad. I do like history.

British Literature - Learning about books and writing styles of British writers and poets. Should be interesting. It talks about the story of Beowulf, so my mom says I'll get to watch the movie and count it as school. :D

Wordly Wise 3000 - Vocabulary subject. Not spelling, mostly just learning more words to increase my vocab.

Format Writing - Teaches me how to write and make long essays in the correct format. Gonna be a lot of writing with this one.

Study Guide (Reading) - This is my main book reading subject. To go along with my British class, my mom has gotten me several books writen by British writers. I'm going to read Macbeth, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, and The Hobbit.

Computer Service and Repair - My computer subject. Will show me the basics and some advance ways to be come a computer tech. My mom also got me an old computer to take apart and look at.

SAT Prep - Prep for the SAT test. I'm not really going to take it, but my mom researched and found that it is of similar format to the Compass Test, which I need to take when I start going to the local Tech College. So this is just getting me ready.

Well, that's all my subjects for my final year. Shouldn't be too bad. The idea of this being my last year of school makes me feel better with all the work. I hope the SAT Prep and Computer subject will help me when I go to the college so I can take computer classes.

Should be a piece of cake.

Woops, hope I didn't just jinx myself. hehehe :P
