That's what I did. I ripped the video to my hard drive from a DVD, now I'm trying to burn the video to a blank DVD. The problem is that even though the file says it's only around 2.5GB, when I go to burn the file to a DVD, it says that it's over 7GB. Even when I change the format of the video to something like AVI or MPEG1, it still says the file is over 7GB when I attempt to burn it. What could possibly cause something like this?

I just bought this program today and I am trying to burn a DVD, but during the burn process, it fails around 73% and gives the following error message:

"Burning failed. The DVD files are saved in the temporary path %s. Please copy them to another directory if you want to save them."

Anyone know what the problem could be?

Will dual layer discs allow me to burn larger videos? I have a video I want to burn, but it'll take up 4.8 GB if I burn it in DVD format and the discs I bought last night are 4.7 GB. I plan to watch the video on a wide screen TV, so I was going to use DVD format. Will a different format, such as MPEG-1, play just as well on a 42" TV?

I am going to burn some videos to DVD for watching on a wide screen (HD) TV, but I have a question first.

Does it matter which format I choose? (e.g. MPEG2, MPEG1, WMV, etc.) Will the video/audio quality suffer if I choose a lesser format? I would choose DVD format, but the videos end up being too large to fit on the disc in that format.

I'm going to buy some blank DVD+R discs. Does it matter whether I buy Sony, Memorex, HP, etc? Is one brand better than the others?

Hey, I got one more question. When I go to my Computer, it says DVD RW. How do I know whether it's + or - and what speed it is?

Other than buying some blank DVDs and putting them in my DVD drive, is there any other way to confirm if my DVD drive is also a DVD burner?

(Don't ask)

what if you have muliple accounts on your ps3

bigbenrfan99

I was wondering the same thing.

Also, I think it's unfair that owners of both consoles get 4 games.

In what way is that unfair? Theoretically, PSP owners were just as affected as PS3 owners by the outage.

You misunderstand what I said. PSP owners do deserve something. But people who own both consoles should still only be limited to 2 games total. Either that, or everyone should be allowed 4 games total.
