[QUOTE="Samwel_X"][QUOTE="mechworrior762"]Sport. Competitions, etc. They aren't much use for hunting, but they're freaking cool. anyway, they're semi-automating, just like everything else, so why single them out? They're no more dangerouse than any other gun, except they have a bigger magazine. P.S. What's wrong with my pole??Loporadaso
I'd say Assault weapons are designed to kill people rather than have other purposes as well... that is why they are singled out.
I really can't think of a sport where an assault rifle is needed... unless of course there are new fishing competitions in the US... grenades and rifles fishing league?Â

I participate in a sport that requires the use of "assault weapons", its a type of competition shooting called USPSA 3 gun. It is considered to be the "Formula 1" of shooting due to the level of skill required to compete in it.

Awesome video.
I support Obama...but def. not on this issue. The truth is, people DO hunt with assault rifles, and people DO target shoot with assault rifles. Â But thats not even the point. The bottom line is, it is our constitutional right to bear arms. (2nd amendment people). It has absolutley NOTHING to do with what you use it for. End of discussion. It shouldnt even be debated.Â
