Enough! After 10 years of faithfull PC-Gaming, i reach a point at which it is undeniable to balance the options out againt each other.

According to two different ''Can U run it!'' like  applications, my computer can not run upcoming GTA IV, the first of many games, i am sure. On top of that, it would require me to buy a new graphics card, a new processor and new RAM memory.Usually, this amounts to quite the amount of cash. (exept for the RAM) I really think it would cost me a 400-500 euro's to get a real gaming PC, and i'll probably need to refresh all the stuff next year. Now, i could buy a console, for example theres the X-Box 360: lot's of games, but no prices below the 30 euro's to get one such game. Plus, the X-Box will probably have a new version steaming in within 1-2 years. It'll cost me a 200-300 euro's. The Playstation 3: Huge investment, costly games, i have no HDTV.1.On top of that, the console's do not have patches,nor a mouse, nor a keyboard.2. My computer is also the only thing in the house with sub-woofer sounds.

 

What should i do? Upgrade my PC AGAIN, or buy a console and get stuckin the pricey market and being at the mercy of microsoft or sony?

I don't like the PS3. None of the consoles has a good JRPG or Platformer line up.

No, the 360 does as stated in my previous posts. 6=good.

6ish range is average. Nothing special. When The Last Remnant or Blue Dragon are considered the Cream of the Crop for JRPGs, there's a problem.
