Give me God of War 3, Little Big Planet, Gears of War 2, Street Fighter 4, Mass Effect, and Gran Turismo 5. Then I might consider buying a Wii. Nintendo entered a new generation with LAST generation graphics, and HOKEY motion control. Casuals, man-children and kids parents might look forward to these games, but hardcore gamers want cutting edge features like DVD/Blu-ray playback, voice chat, advanced Hi-def graphics, and AAA third party games, something the Wii sorely lacks. IMO when I play the Wii after playing my PS3 or XB360(or even PC) it just feels cheap. And in reality it IS the cheapest system. Virtual Console is interesting but PSN and XBLA offer tons classics also. You can show me screenshots of Gamecube quality Wii graphics all day and my opinions won't change. Nintendo NEEDS to come out first in the NEXT round, and evidently they realize that.

My XB360 broke again (3rd) time. MS sent it back broken saying the repair order was voided because their were two serial numbers attached to the console. The first two times it broke, it was returned timely and I was happy. I just bought GTA4 and I'm mad as hell at MS. I'm trading my games in and getting a PS3 because (from what I've heard) it is more reliable. I still play my Xbox 1, but I think I'm done with the 360. I'll miss XBL but not the RROD.

SFIV definitely looks cooler IMO. Tatsunoku vs Capcom might appeal to people who prefer colorful Dreamcast effects.

BTW what tech(console) is Tat vs Cap running on?

If you look at the final outcome of the 32-bit era systems sold:

ps1 1st

saturn 2nd

3DO 3rd

Current state of new gen consoles systems sold:

wii 1st

XB360 2nd

PS3 3rd

I would have put N64 between ps1 and saturn(making it 2nd) but as it was a cartridge based system in a CD era it was just in a different niche. Notice the jaguar was supposedly 64-bits so I didn't include it in the 32-bit era either and of course it would be last. The N64 should be considered a success though almost strictly based on 1st party titles. I would be tempted to say Dreamcast was similair to 3DO because they both briefly shared time as being the most tech savvy systems(3DOs multimedia, and Dreamcast jumpstarting online and console based web browsing) IMO
