I am not Japanese and neither are any of my friends. If you care about Japanese game release you should go post on Gamespot/Japan. I'm glad I don't live in Japan because I WILL be able to play FF 13 on PS3 OR XB360. Choice equals good IMO. Wow japanese people hate U.S. products because we bombed Nagasaki and Hiroshima TO HELL. *note to Japanese people* I am not trying to flame anybody but I have an opinion. Being an American burger eating, beer guzzling glutton I am fully aware that Asian people are generaly more pleasant and smarter people than Westerners. Final Fantasy, the game series that countless people worldwide embrace and love(and vehemetly defend as if it were their religion) was created by brilliant Japanese people.:D...

I own XB360 and PS3, but Kojima must not know how to treat the 360. Look at the pic he's using the XB360 as a GD COAT RACK!!?

I think RAGE is not a good game to sell the XB360s power. Read Gamespots preview of that game and DOOM 4 at Quakecon 2008. John Carmack said the XB360 version will definitely be inferior to PS3 because of lack of storage. I own both systems so don't call me a fanboy. I didn't want to believe it at first, but XB360s lack of media storage is starting to hurt it. Unless MS utilizes the HD-DVD drive for games, then there's no way around it. You can only compress so much data onto DVD9.

Long story short

Lately MS repairs have been fairly quick (about 1-2 weeks at most). My XB360 just broke for the third time. They sent my console back STILL BROKEN. They said they voided the repair because my console had two serial numbers attached to it. But that's a different story.

PC games are never truly optimized being developed to run on a variety of videocards. Some of the most expensive cards don't run particularly well with certain games because of the architecture of PCs to put it simply. I enjoy gaming on PC, PS3 and XB360 but in past experiences PCs crash more and seem to be very finnicky about getting the settings to actually"max out" the graphics. Some magical combination of resolution, texture quality, shading and shadows settings might get you a completely stable framerate, but then are your graphics really "maxed out"?

OK don't laugh but I'm going out on a limb and saying that console Doom4 will probably have a more stable framerate than the PC version(while PC version will certainly technically have the most impressive specs). Unless Windows vista gets overhauled with more stable drivers. We'll see....

I don't know any grandmas or grandpas playing this thing like the commercials say. I got one for my b-day and promptly gave it to my sister( I already own the GC, XB360, PS3). I bought NO More Heroes and it was funny, but the graphics/collision detection were stuck in the 90s. Zelda and Mario Galaxy were fun but felt like a GC game. I am NOT trying to flame anybody just my opinion. I hope that next-gen Nintendo expands on the Virtual Boys 3D technology with color graphics cuz we all know Nintendo doesn't follow the same old route for long.

Mullet Gear Solid 4 has better character models, while Doom 3 has better textures on the environments IMO. Crysis rips both a new one though.

Being a PS3 owner, I will say WHO CARES ABOUT MULLET GEAR SOLID 4??!! Try hyping God of War 3, or Little Big Planet instead of a played out franchise with WAY too many BORING A$$ CUTSCENES. With Gears of War, and Mass Effect, Virtua Fighter 5(no COW you can't play your inferior version online), Halo 3, Bioshock(yeah it will be ported to PS3 eventually where it will be old news)the Xbots are doing fine. Get your nose out of Sonys a$$, get a job, buy all three systems and quit being a LAME FANBOY.
