This is the single dumbest topic title and thread I have ever read on System Wars, on every possible level.... and that's really saying something.
Buff-McBlumpkin's forum posts
all of the AAAs on the 360 scored better on the 360....so it is an exlusive AAA(exept for oblivion)jackassnumber20
This doesn't make any sense.
If a game is on multiple platforms it isn't exclusive.
The version of GRAW on the 360 is not on any other platform, therefore it's exclusive.
Games like COD and Oblivion are identical on the 360 and PC. There might be a few frame rate differences or some other minor changes, but the games themselves are virtually the same. Therefore, games like those are not exclusive.
What identical games score across different platforms (as in the "Versions" with the highest numerical ratings) have nothing to do with exclusivity, the standards on which games are judged are unique to what platform is running a given game.
I don't see why any of this matters, anyway. Who cares?
360: Gears (as of now, will most likely float its way to the PC at some point, but this could take a very long time,) PDZ, GRAW (the version of GRAW on the 360 is completely different from the versions on the PC, the XBox, and the PS2. The one on the PC is even a FPS.)
Wii: WarioWare
PS3: None yet.
There you go.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, but there's not point in being dishonest.

Wait, wait..... where are the "Not excuses," where are the "Facts?" FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WHERE ARE YOU POINTING?!?
I listed the facts :?They're.
Their reviews have been...off. For this gen that is. I am mainly focusing on the review for Gears of War. Now, we all know that Gamespot basically treats a 9.6 as if they are giving a perfect 10. It just doesn't happen, and if it does then it usually goes to games that actually deserve it. I played both Gears of War and Resistance thoroughly and I have to say that neither game deserves an AAA score. They are both generic except Resistance was well thought out and Gears just wasn't. If they are both generic and really aren't that great, then what makes Gears of War a 9.6? What makes it one of the greatest games of all time? Nothing, because it doesn't. Games like that don't get such high ratings from Gamespot.
I mean, Gears of War's review contradicts what they said about Zelda:TP. There is nothing new about it and it doesn't do that much to make itself unique. So what's with the 9.6? What did the game do for them to give it such a score? The Gamespot staff really can't answer that and I bet none of you can who agree with the score. I know, you are thinking wow another complainer about the scores, but it is more than that. It is the first time I do not agree with Gamespot about a game they gave 9.5+ . Usually I trust their judgment when they score it so high and I go buy the game and usually I agree...but this time I think they are waaay off. I only own a 360 but even I can admit that the game was nowhere near a 9.6. So is there another 360 owner who thinks the score was way too high or is it just me?Mudig
1: Gamespot treats a 9.6 as a 9.6. Using your logic.... I guess Metroid Prime is a 10.1. The whole "9.6 is a 10" notion is a ridiculous System Wars misconception. Your post's premise is flawed.
2: You're right, Resistance is not a 9.0+ worthy title. Even at Gamerankings it scored an 88%.
4: TP is basically Ocarina Redux. Don't get me wrong, I love TP and would've scored it differently but it did not do enough to distance itself from Ocarina..... from locations, art form, enemies, etc. etc. etc. Gears is far more original.... yes - it borrowed ideas from other games (Killswitch, etc) but none of them have done it like Gears has done it. This is not the case for TP.
3: The general consensus about Gears is that's it's a 9.0+ title. Even at GR it has a stunning 94%. Do you realize how many GOTY awards it received? You're clearly in the minority here.
