Back in its day Goldeneye was revolutionary for console FPS.

It hasn't aged well in my opinion, the only thing it has going for it is the pure nostalgia factor.

No, the game as a whole. It's a very sharp-looking game.

Not trying to knock any system or anything.... I agree that Gears is still the best looking game out riht now, without question. Still, to my eyes Motorstorm looks much better than Kameo. It's a pretty incredible looking game. 

Dude, you can sit around at your computer and find poor looking shots of Motorstorm and that other dude above me ("Proof11212" or whatever the Hell is name is) can sit around and scrounge around for poor looking shots of Gears. I'm sure you two could also stalk Jessica Alba around and snap a few shots of her that are less than flattering and use them to try to convince enveryone that she "isn't very good looking."

But at the end of the day Alba will still be hot, Gears will still look friggin' amazing, and Motorstorm will still have extremely good graphics. Likely, the only two people you will fool will be yourselves.

Nope. I actually didn't own a 360 at this point last year. I didn't think there were enough good games to warrant a purchase. Be that as it may, the PS3 is is even worse shape now (from a software standpoint) than the 360 was at this point last year in its lifecycle. Recognizing that the PS3's game library does not merit spending 600 bucks on the system doesn't make one a fanboy, is makes one sensible. Will the PS3 eventually have a great library? yes, of course. Does it now? No, it doesn't. Has its launch been a disapointment? Yep, yes it has.

The 360 had several games rated higher than the PS3's highest rated game by now during this point last year. Hell, at launch the 360 had something like four games rated higher than the PS3's current highest rated game.

The PS3 has set the record on this site for the longest a system has ever gone post launch without a AAA title. The 360 also had GRAW and Oblivion released in March of last year.... and the PS3's first AAA game looks like it'll be a year old port of one of those games (Oblivion.) Not that I care about that at all, but it's clear the PS3 launch has been disapointing from a software standpoint, even more so than the 360's.
