What do you mean they do the same **** Engineers use computers to make designs, economists to run regressions and econometric anlyses, filmmakers to edit their movies, video game designer to design games, students to meke their homework, etc, how can you say they do the same stuff??

The main purpose of the computer is not to play games, the main purpose of he ps3 is to play games, even if you accept it or not, so yes, it is a toy just like the wii and the 360.

It looks really good, This is how a big budget game looks on Wii. Its not up to par with 360 and PS3, but it is easily better looking that anything last gen.

When VGChartz declares their sales numbers, it's all guesses. They guess the numbers - this automatically means it's according to them - their own opinion.

When NPD shows its numbers, it is not 100 % accurate or something - this does mean it's just no fact but merely a more trustworthy guess - still an opinion - not a fact that x sold y this month.

When Nintendo puts out the numbers, they can't exactly know how many copies have been sold. It's simply impossible, and thus, it's just a good guess, their opinion. But that's not a fact. The fact is the real number we can't possible be aware of - the opinion is the numbers issued by Nintendo.

Sales numbers is not a fact, it is an opinion.

You are crazy man, of course Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony or any company can know exactly how many copies have been sold. They know how many they have produced, they know how many they have shipped to each store and they know the inventories each store has of their products.

Knowing them their next console will most likely be at or just below the capabilites of the PS3/360 whereas the PS4 and NeXtbox will be far above their predecessors in terms of possiblities.

To answer your question though, if Nintendo doesn't make the jump to HD I think alot will be dissapointed.

Knowing them??? LOL do you started gaming this generation?? Nintendo consoles have always been on par or superior to their competition in terms of power. This is the first generation that that didnt happen.

Its stupid to not count games like Gears and Mass Effect because they are on PC. Sony fanboys can argue all they want about them not being exclusive, but at the end of the day those are games you can play on 360 and not on PS3.

People are expecting 3rd party software to sell milions on Wii but they dont realize that the milion sellers franchises so far havent been made for Wii. The day developers start to put their Resident Evils, Metar Gears, Gears of Wars. etc and they dont sell millions, then you have a point.

The only two huge 3rd party games announced so far for WII ara Monster Hunter 3 and Dragon Quest X, if those dont sell millions, then there is some validity to the argument that software doesnt sell on Wii.

Dont get me wrong, there have been plenty of good games on Wii, but none as mainstream as the ones I mentioned. The only mainstream games on Wii are first party (Mario KArt, Mario Galaxy, SSBB, Zelda) and all of them are among the top sellers of this generation.
