Okay, I've been out for like a week..... whats the deal with all this?

I remember hearing about this game months ago and seeing the concept stuff, so, do we have any actual footage of the game yet?

I hear its coming out in like a week, is this true? How could we have not seen anything big yet on this if so????

Read the thread lazy basstard

C'mon, this thread is ridonculous! I'm not going through like 13+ pages for a couple answers!

I scanned the front and like I said, I really don't see any new news!

Hmmmm, new news??? Those two words look awkward together, whats even more awkward is how just the "s" at the end of "new" completely changes the meaning of the word to something else! Strange......

Ha ha has far as I know there isnt any footage of the game yet, we only know the artwork, that it his exclusive to the wii, that the plot revolves around old forgotten DIsney characters wanting to get back at Mickey and that the gameplay involves a painting brush.

i was hoping he'd endorse intellivision for 2010..... :(

saying nintendo doesn't take chances is ridiculous, is he even aware of all the shovelware out for the wii? releasing.... lets just call them "low quality" games is definitely taking a risk.

hakanakumono

No it isn't, because they sell. Nintendo really doesn't take risks, which is why quality games like Fatal Frame IV will never come to the US. If games like Demon's Souls and Valkyria Chronicles were owned by Nintendo they probably wouldn't hit western shores either.

Unveiling the wii remote was riskier than anything the playstation brand has ever done. To think that Sony takes more risks than Nintendo is being delusional.

[QUOTE="Jandurin"][QUOTE="Hiroshi_Ichirou"] Always finding a excuse for something even when your wrong, the topic creator made a good point, but all these comments make anything he said go right out the window.shoryuken_

his only point is that online play has lag.... that's true on every system anywhere

The topic also said that 360's online play is exactly like the Wii's, which is completely false due to friend codes, little to no DLC, no patches, etc etc.

DLC and patches are pathetic. I dont know how people think those are good things. The only thing that this does is make the developers lazy, knowing they can release a product that is not finished because they can patch it later and release an extra chapter for a couple of bucks, and not just that, but the developers then make a statement like yeah, we care about the gamers so that is why we are fixing this with the patch, and everybody buys it and thinks that the developer is awesome. when in reality there souldnt be a need for patches.

DLC is different, some of it is worthy but most of it is just a rip off.

Do you know why Nintendo doesnt support patches?? Cause they would never release a Zelda, Metroid, Mario or whatever without it being 100% polished.

Having say that, Xbox Live is much more complete that what Wii offers online, I dont use the Wii for online games, at least not yet.

Too bad he makes terrible music.

Comduter

Nobody refers Pretty Hate Machine, Broken, and The Downward Spiral as terrible. If so, you are the one who truely has terribel taste in music. I know this is off topic, but it has to be said. TDS truely has to be one of the best albums of all time without exaggeration. It's up there withThe Wall for god sakes. NIN's latest music however, yeah I'd say it sucks pretty badly.

The fragile is pretty damn good too

I think Sony has the Best and Most Original IP games this Gen and the entire Industry.

For starters, they've made the most NEW games anyone has seen. While I agree Wii and Microsoft have given a great sampling of NEW IPs this gen (WiiSports, Gears), they aren't nearly as many NEW Ips from them.

And keep in mind I'm talking NEW.

Motorstorm

FolkLore

Resistance

Uncharted

Heavenly Sword

Eye of Judgement

LittleBigPlanet

inFamous

LocoRoco

Patapon

SuperStardustHD

FatPrincess

Invisimals

Heavy Rain

WhiteKnight Chronicles

Flow

Flower

EchoChrome

Linger in Shadows

PixelJunk Monsters/Eden/Shooter

BlastFactor

Shatter

Everyday Shooter

Piyotama

Mesmerize

ModNationRacers

MAG

I mean come on! Thats an EPIC list of NEW IPS from SONY so Far!

And Lastly, I think the name for a Sony Fanboy shouldn't be called COW. They are not being milked for their franchises because there are mostly all NEW.

Lems and sheep however.......

abodaghee

A lot those games arent first party, and the IPs are definetly not from Sony. Yes resistance and heavy rain for example are ps3 exclusives, but Insomniac and Quantic Dream are not owned by Sony. Sony makes deals with these developers to finance the development of this games in order to have the rights to publish them and to be exclusive, but they are definetly not owned by Sony.

First party would be like Naughty Dog, which it is owned by Sony.

I'm keeping an open mind about Metroid for the minute. Team Ninja could lose their way with Itagaki now gone.

Menalque2

Well they have something better than Itagaki helping them on this game. They have Nintendo.
