I think its time for MS to pull their **** togheter before the PS4 gets to many pre-orders.

brb preordering PS4
Also, dont forget Kinect 2.0 required to be plugged in at any time in order to work;)Watermarked Discs

You`ll miss out on Sesam Street for Kinect though.I COULD live with online activation code, but i WOULD hate it.
Always online? NO. Online requirement at all? NO.
Livingstone, who was one of the driving forces behind Eidos and its Tomb Raider franchise, was in India recently to promote Crystal Dynamics latest Lara Croft adventure.
On the possibility of boxed retail being abandoned in favour of digital distribution, Livingstone told MCV, Boxed games arent being abandoned just yet. I think the next iteration of consoles the PS4 and the next Xbox, have got optical disc drives even though they probably dont want to have them. Broadband speed globally isnt at a level that justifies digital-only.
So theyve gone halfway, he added, giving the example of Microsofts supposed next-gen approach, With the next Xbox, you supposedly have to have an internet connection, and the discs are watermarked, whereby once played on one console it wont play on another. So I think the generation after that will be digital-only. http://www.mcvindia.com/news/read/ian-livingstone-talks-next-gen-hints-at-always-on-used-game-blocking-xbox/0111409
I have to admit, if even the online requirement and the activation codes for each disc to only work one system is true, I will not buy next gen at all.
Was this debunked already?

If not, then what Pachter is saying might be true. Also to those who didn't actually watch the video of him saying all of this - I think it's the first time he hasn't actually said random **** (though most of what he said was a 'review' on the PS4 reveal, and his thoughts on it. Which I agree to when it comes to some stuff).
That was put out last April dude also "Beyond that we do not comment on rumors or speculation" isn't not confirming; they would say this regardless if it did or didn't. Sharing everything with Sony would be a bad idea. Anyway, why would they start to comment on a system that hasnt even officially been announced?Any game collectors out there that wants to share pictures of their game collection? I have a big Sega Mega Drive and Dreamcast collection I want to share once i`ve taken some pictures. :)
What about you?
too many people saying its true. if it really is true then microsoft really will not be competing with sony next generation.
Sony blocking patent wasnt true, so I dont think this one is. They might as well skip Xbox 720 and call it Xbox Online.Sony blocking patent wasnt true, so I dont think this one is.too many people saying its true. if it really is true then microsoft really will not be competing with sony next generation.
