[QUOTE="CAlNlAC"]Wheres my next-gen Metroid Prime Nintendo?! :cry:nintendoboy16
Metroid Prime is DONE and the series is on hiatus. Don't hold your breath.

It better not go on hiatus as long as the F-zero series has been.

No Metroid or F-zero makes me one sad guy.

Good showing from both Sony and MS today I think. MS had more games that I personally found to be interesting but Sony clearly has the advantage in terms of price point.

I plan on buying both eventually but its gonna be tough to decide which to get first... Probably just gonna buy whichever one comes out first and then buy the other a year later.

[QUOTE="Harisemo"]

lol @ playing CoD without 360 controller

Wii-U Pro controller.

Wii-U-Pro-Controller1.jpg

The only big issue I have with the Wii U controller is that I will no longer be able to play FPS's using what I believe is refered to as the claw grip because the face buttons are below the right anolog stick.. The claw grip for those not aware is a grip where you keep your right thumb on the anolog stick at all times. You do this by bringing your right index-finger down to the face buttons so you can do things like press the jump, reload, melee buttons etc. without having to sacrifice your aiming by needing to move your thumb like you do for the standard grip. You then use your right middle finger on the trigger button.

Its a little awkward at first but once you get used to it its quite nice indeed. I guess for FPS's on the Wii U I will have to use the standard grip. Meh.

So does anyone know if NintendoLand is gonna be a pack-in game or not? If it isn't thats pretty disappointing cause I'd like to mess around with it a bit and have some fun like I did with Wii Sports but I just can't see myself going out buying it seperately. That extra money would go towards a better game me thinks.

Looks like the premium model is the way to go. Still haven't decided if I want one at launch yet though cause I wanna see some more game announcements first. Thankfully theres not a long wait to see whats up. I hope you deliver the goods Nintendo!

So far this is the only game I've seen for the Wii U that I personally would find interesting and I hope it turns out great but I'm not sure if its enough for me to wanna go out and buy a Wii U right away when it comes out. I need to see more games first so I hope that Nintendo shows us some good stuff at their next press event.

Well when I woke up today I was really wanting Nintendo to be able to sell me on buying the Wii U when it comes out. After watching their press conference though they actually pushed me away from wanting to buy one and its got nothing to do with the controller either as I actually think it will be a really cool thing in the end. What disappointed me was the lack of software shown that I would find interesting. My thoughts and opinions from what they showed at their conference.

Pikmin 3 - I know there are people out there that like this series but I've never been a fan of it personally. Its just not my kinda game.

NSMB U - Meh another 2D Mario game. I'm sure it will be fun I guess but I was really hoping to see a new 3D Mario game.

Multiplatform games - Its great that they are getting some of the Xbox360/PS3 multiplat games but I already own those consoles so I'm not gonna buy a new console to play those games, some of which that were shown I've already played.

Nintendo 3DS stuff - I'm not a fan of handheld gaming so this stuff is just a bore for me personally.

Wii U Fit - LOL no thanks!

Just Dance 4 - Same as above.

ZombiU - Ahh now this I thought looked interesting after they showed the trailer but then later I saw some gameplay and it looked just meh. This could change as we learn more about it but for now its just meh.

NintendoLand - Ahh the Wii Sports of the Wii U. Thats fine I guess and I might play it a little if its the pack in game that comes with the system but from what they said to me it sounds like its gonna be a stand-alone game at launch that you have to buy separately. If thats the case LOL no thanks!

That covers everything I could remember. Nintendo had a really good chance to sell the Wii U to me and I'm sure others but they didn't. Where was the game Retro is working on? There were rumors of new F-Zero and Star Fox games, was that not true? I would have loved to learn more about the Wii U's UI and what its online system is going to be like. What about a launch date and price? Nope we didn't get any of those things. I dunno maybe I was expecting too much from Nintendo today. Anyway for now unless things change -and I really hope that they do- I will not be looking to buy a Wii U.

All those features sound great to me. I just hope they turn out to be true though or I would be disappointed. Thankfully E3 isn't too far off now so I won't have to wait long to find out.
