GeOW for me because Halo 2 was a big disappointment to me personally.  Hopefully Halo 3 can win me back though.

Well ya of course the update is free, I thought you were talking about the maps.

The maps will cost money as I said before though sadly.  At first anyway.

[QUOTE="squallff8_fan"]but will they still force epic and other devs to give out free mapsFelous1
Third, next DLC for Gears is confirmed to be free.

Are you sure about that? I thought they were doin a Halo 2 type deal. The maps will have a fee at first but a handfull months later will become free. Thats what I read on Epics forums earlier today anyway.

[QUOTE="Felous1"]Extension of the background download functionality will allow owners to set their Xbox 360 console to turn off automatically after downloads are complete. Some people are gonna like this one.

Yeah, they read my mind with that one. No longer will I have to worry about my 360 catching fire as I'm sleeping while downloading a number of things. I hope PS3 will get an update soon that will allow this. Btw, was just kidding about the catching fire bit..

Ya it is kinda funny how the numbers are similar. But if history truely does repeat itself, one could bring up the so called 3rd console curse as a possible indication of whats to come for the future of the PS3. Do I think that will happen? No, I don't. I see each of the 3 consoles having very similar numbers in the market share. Something like 37%, 33%, 30%. Who has which when its all said and done? I'm not sure, but it will be interesting to find out.

To me Home seems like it could be a very cool thing. But on the other hand I can also see it becoming more of an annoyance. I don't know about you guys but when I wanna play a game online with friends I wanna put the game in and jump right in a match. Not go thru what may end up becoming a hassle of launching Home on the XMB, waiting for it to load, locating friends, setting up a game, load up the game and then start playing. Seems like a lot of work. Thats just how I personally see things turning out for Home. Of course, I hope I'm wrong and it is a huge success and works quickly and easily to get us gamers online with our friends. Anyway no one really knows how it will turn out so we should all just wait and see.

[QUOTE="CAlNlAC"]Not sure why everyone is just now making a fuss about this. I mean they have been charging for DLC since the original Xbox. Is it the right thing to do? Depends on who you ask. Everyone has their own opinion about it. But as for me, this is old news.Berserker_2
The Sheep are just concerned for the Lemmings. They are watching over us so that we may not get cheated by big bad Microsoft. Which company has made the most profit? Nintendo.

Yeah, good for Nintendo. Making profit is a good thing after all..
