then there was a yellow Pikachu version but it really looked childish

I had spring break when the Pikachu version was launched and I really wanted it. By the time I got back, they were sold out everywhere. After thinking about it, I also decided it was a little childish looking or just meant for big Pokemon fans. I like Pokemon, but not that much.
I guess the only reason I would ever get a limited edition of a system is for future re-sale value (esp. if not opened).
I just got a blue 3DS XL. I am wondering if I made the right decision, so I just want to see some opinions. Either way, the blue is cool and it doesn't change the gaming.
On another note, am I the only one that noticed they made red and blue systems because of red and blue 3D glasses? My mind is blown haha.
I actually had to decide between these two yesterday. I got Fire Emblem and am happy with it. I hope it is the same for you.
When it comes to Mario, the only other 3DS game I have is Super Mario 3D Land because I got my XL only three days ago. I like it a lot. It feels like a mix between the classic Mario Bros. games and Super Mario 64.
I get jealous whenever I hear about someone with the Pikachu XL haha. I tried to get one, but they were sold out everywhere. I ended up getting a normal blue one.
On topic, I agree that the wobbly screen is actually good. It almost cusions the preasure when you move it.
This is why I just get screen protectors. I'm so paranoid about this stuff, mainly with brand new systems.Superzone
I am the same way. I always get screen protectors and cases when I get the system. Make sure you know how to apply screen protectors though. If there are bubbles and dust, it can even damage the outside of the screen over time.
Screen protectors get dirty too though, so it's still good to have a micro fiber cloth.
I am just wondering if I will get warnings before my subscription expires. I am just worried it will suddenly end and I will loose the free games I downloaded.
I don't know a lot about newer monitors because I got mine four years ago.
I don't know the model name or anything, but I have an ASUS 27 inch monitor. It's 1080p with speakers built in with two HDMI ports and a VGA port, so you can hook up more things (I have my PC, Xbox, and PS3 on the same monitor).
