Alright I just completed my second run through of MGS4 (I ended with 5 hours and 2 mins with 0 kills/alerts/continues/uses, just 3 mins over the limit for 2 emblems ARGH...).

Anyways I earned the emblem of 'Frog' for performing 200 Rolls/Dives but for some reason I didn't get 'Scarab'. The description on IGN and Gamespot state it takes 100 Dives to obtain, do they mean just run and press X or is it something else?

Thanks, planning out my next runs I should have all 40 emblems in a total of about 6 runs lawl.

I was wondering bout this as well. I only managed to get 2 batteries, and the icon indicating the batteries has the number 2 beside it, but as soon as the bar empties out, I cant use any equipment that relies on the batteries. Do the number of batteries extend the amount of time the equipment fuctions?D-Camo

That's what I was thinking.

1 Battery = 5 Mins with Solid Eye
2 Batteries = 10 Mins with Solid Eye

I'm not sure if that was it but looking back at MGS3 as soon as one bar ran out the other would kick in.

*SPOILERS BECAREFUL*

I found the battery on the Nomad, actually I found two batteries during the Mission Breifings. Anyway when I turn on the Solid Eye I get the battery bar and to the right where there is an image of a battery there is the number 3 (was 2 but I found another battery).

I was wondering, does the battery just increase the time of the bar or should after one battery runs out the bar refills and displays another number.

Thanks!

P.S. This is my second run though of the game, going for 0 alerts/kills. Currently in the middle of Act 2...

It's funny cause now this kid is dodging the thread. People have asked him questions and counter-pointed him and where is he? Dumbest post on Gamespot ever, even the threads about the PS3 playing Xbox 360 CDs has more content than this.

Go away, and don't come back.

P.S. Nice Avatar, what game seris is that from again?

can you put your own song in the ipod inside the game? and another question how can get snake eater track in the game?

goyolap

No custom songs, otherwise that would defeat the purpose of collecting them. Snake Eater can only be obtained by getting all 40 emblems.

Ok .. I got the assassins Emblem / ALtair suit..

Also stealth item and solar gun :P

4 times complete sorry to brag..

My advice to you..

get the stealth item first.. that way you can easly get 50 CqC kills .. R1 then Triangle 50 times and your done.. avoid 25 alerts..

Its easy

complete the game on normal. easy what ever you like and get stealth camo .. then go for assassins creed suit :)

PSN : Hvitdverg

ExTrazz-SeWICX

Stealth camo just requires 0 alerts right, but I can shoot the hell outta everyone correct?

*CANADA*

I originally thought that only EB Games would have the Limited Edition and it had to be pre-ordered but I was checking flyers and it appears that Wal-Mart, Futureshop, and Bestbuy will all have the Limited Edition. Although EB Games charges $79.99 for it, the other locations are charging $84.95.

I always thought Limited Edition meant limited, but I guess if you missed out on the pre-order you can still pick it up.

This is a question regarding Metal Gear Solid 4 Limited Edition.

Is this something where I can just go into the store on the day and pick up or do I have to pre-order it? Also which stores will have this limited edition for sale? *CANADA*

I think I'm just going to pre-order it from EB Games anyways but I was worried that I was running too close to the launch date to do so.

Thanks~

I better get cracking then.

My playtime for the first was about 11 hours but total time spent on it would be like 12-13 hours.

Thanks guys~

12 mins into the second game =O

I bought the Essentials Pack for MGS and I just beat the first (which by the way was amazing, wasn't expecting all that from a PS Game). Anyways I was wondering how long it takes to beat II and III, nothing like 100% completion, just enough so I get the story for IV.

Thanks~
