@Threesixtyci Well skyrim UI was pretty bad yes but the control system was perfect.
Xcom enemy unknown was also perfect with a mouse and keyboard.
You don't need to be a P developer to make a good control setup for a mouse and keyboard.. I can jump into unity and set one up pretty fast and the same with unreal engine. Mouse and keyboard have been around for many years now and they have no excuse not to have done a better job and considering that was the no 1 complaint about the first one on PC I was expecting this to be perfect.
@freedomzealot If all you want in life is to get to the T10 tanks then yes its a lot of grinding.. but the rest of the tanks from T1 all the way up to T10 are fun to play. So play enjoy the game and dont worry about trying to rush to T10.
The game is not pay2win any more as nothing you can buy allows you to instantly win... even gold ammo that you can now buy with in game cash does not mean you will win. Premium tanks are not the best tanks out there and most tanks when maxed out in that tier will be better than a premium tank..
As for the match making well its two tiers either way and its rare to have a tank that you cant damage at all... sure you might have to think about what part of the tank to hit to be able to damage them but you still can. Yes its a bit annoying going against tanks two tiers above you but you just have to change the way you play when that happens.
@Threesixtyci @Caldrin Well if you are going to spend the time to port a game to the PC then you should at least spend the time to create a proper control setup for the mouse and keyboard.. its not a hard thing to do.
As for cheaters well I guess that is up to the company behind the game to report any cheaters via VAC. only been playing single player myself so far.
I wanted to like this game.. as I do like to be challenged.. I picked it up on PC as I dont game on anything else.
The game looks pretty good and I liek the atmosphere.
The control setup i again bad.. not as bad as the first one but still everything just feels wrong from the from the really strange key combos you ahve to press to do normal things to the fact yuo can seem to re-bind keys to waht you want.. there seems to be a big delay in attacking when using the mouse buttons to attack, change to keyboard and there is no delay.
I have also had the same issues trying to get into as the guy doing this review but having to fight with a crappy control system as well is no good.. I dont like palying these types of games with a control pad as for me it also feels wrong.
Just glad I paid £12 for a russian steam key instead of the £39 they are asking for it in the UK.
@Zilched the paltform is far from dead... its a game from a company that just cant do PC ports very well.. just accept that and move on there are many many other amazing games on the PC platform.
I dont like the mosue and keyboard suport in this and I hate playing this type of game with a controller.. I was lucky and managed to pick this up very cheap anyway so its not the end of the world but fighting with the controls and the a fact its a hard game anyway puts me of from playing it more.
